Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Anyone remember what the absolute first project was that Carney signed onto? I believe it was the buidling of 500,000 modular homes. I asked AI to render me an image of what these modular homes were supposed to look like upon completion.
Here’s what it showed me (I shortened the URL…it’s safe) :
https://tinyurl.com/yc6v6y4x
Those aren’t modular “HOMES”. Those are apartments. “A Nation of Renters”, indeed.
How does that song go? “Tenants in the fountain, which ant will the fountain bless?””
Poor people are renters. Poor people birth the most children. So, what’s the problem with fertility rates and high housing costs? Canada simply needs to import MORE poor third-worlders … esp. Muslims … and they will live in government subsidized housing and spawn huge litters of children. BONUS !!! They will replace all those evil white European and Christian Canadians.
It’s a win-win according to your latest government.
Sometimes I disagree with you, Kenji, but sometimes you just may be right. 🙁
We are getting very close to the biggest intergenerational wealth transfer in human history as the boomers peg off and leave their estates to their kids and grandkids. The biggest fear is that the government will do everything it can to take as much of that wealth away from our kids and grandkids in the form of taxes of one type or another and piss it away like they have for decades.
There is an old Scottish saying…
The father buys
The son builds
The grandchild sells
and his son begs
The governments are coming for our wealth … even my Barbara Willis collection!
“everything it can to take as much of that wealth away”
sold my place last year, lawyer had to file the numbers with the tax office ‘no reason nothing to see bla bla bla’
they’re practicing and getting the system in place to tax house sales.
it will be IRRESISTABLE. and entirely the fault of those most loudly complaining.
Carney is a WEF & Davos guy, of course he’s hellbent on inflicting on us that old WEF saying (own nothing and be happy).
If we-all will be forced to own nothing, THEY will be happy.
“Canadians will say, Thank @od Carneys gone…”
Justin Trudeau was the most hated man in the country and so Canadians re-elected the Liberal Party of Canada with Mark Carney driving the car.
It was like shitting their pants and changing their shirt.
The problem is Canada, not Carney.
Vote Option 2 on Question 10 October 19, Alberta.
He was behind the scenes when Trudeau fils was rampant. Expect little to change but the rhetoric.
economics has its own definition of rent seeking. and it aint nice. fits Liberals to a T
