  1. The world has gone crazy – orangutans have human rights:
In Argentina – not exactly a leading country on human rights.

  2. Nothing quite beats holiday spirit like political parties calling for money donations. After telling the “fund raiser” they should stop begging during the Christmas season when politics is not top of mind he told me “money never sleeps”!

That’s why I have an answering machine to screen crank calls

  4. Media bubble this day is discussing that Harper must win majority in 2015 or the opposition will oust him on first confidence vote and form a coalition.
Picture the idea of the angry bird and Leisuresuit Larry working together.
Now picture the same version of that story with the NDP holding more seats.
Yeah….first opportunity. ..first question that popped into my head was why would the media be speculating a scenario where justin doesn’t win a majority?

“Disenchanted German citizens and right-wing extremists are joining forces to form a protest movement to fight what they see as the Islamization of the West. Is this the end of the long-praised tolerance of postwar Germany?”

“The truth must be told! All European life died in Auschwitz
    By Sebastian Vilar Rodrigez*
I walked down the street in Barcelona, and suddenly discovered a terrible truth – Europe died in Auschwitz.
We killed six million Jews and replaced them with 20 million Muslims. In Auschwitz we burned a culture, thought, creativity, and talent. We destroyed the chosen people, truly chosen, because they produced great and wonderful people who changed the world.”

PARIS – French police arrested a man on Sunday evening after he deliberately mowed down a dozen pedestrians in the eastern city of Dijon, badly injuring two of them and shouting “Allahu Akbar” (“God is the greatest”), authorities said.
The Dijon driver, in his forties, slammed his car into groups of pedestrians in five parts of the city before he was arrested and held for questioning, a spokesman for the Interior ministry said on BFM TV.

  7. Under the “have you considered a career in comedy,” we have:
Trudeau vows to end message control – granted it’s easier if you don’t have a message:
Umm, except in the Senate, or at riding nomination meetings:

Let me fix that quote for you (mine added):
“(From my perspective of no government experience whatsoever, except possibly a class play) … It’s not really that citizens don’t trust (that) their government (is Liberal) but that we have a government that doesn’t trust its citizens (to be progressive enough), which is something that really makes it difficult to have a (statist) government that is truly serving the interests of (the Liberal Party of Canada)….
(A hopelessly biased Liberal press) is an essential part of any (un)informed democracy, making sure citizens (don’t) know (how daft I am) and are able to hold (the Conservatives but not me) to (a double standard).” (Disallowing)the (Liberal) media (their gotcha moments) is “not just weakening the functioning of (Grit largesse) but weakening (my chances of getting a free ride from the electorate).”
