10 Years Of SDA

And then some. I fully intended to mark the first decade of SDA on February 18th, but eh… I forgot. So, a belated thank you to you all for your continued support of this subversive little corner of the interweb.

  1. I agree with Phantom Kate. I am sure commercialism grates like nails on a chalkboard to you, but with your artistic bent, I am sure you could come up with some unique apparel.

  2. Kate, your website has been the start of my day and usually the end of my day since about 2005. Your wit and commentary is second to none in Canada, and better than most anywhere.
    I congratulate your continued success.

  3. Congratulations for ten years on the leading-edge, and thank you for generously sharing your wit and intellect.

  4. From a daily reader,Thankyou and continued success.SDA has helped educate me.cheers doug young. Assiniboia Saskatchewan now living in Calgary.

  5. Congratulations for sure. May you have at least ten more.
    Even tickled the tip jar!

  6. Late to the party here but thanks Kate, for keeping the blog going for this long, and I sincerely hope to see another ten years of it.
Honorable mention to the rest of the crew too!
    You picked a good team.
And because of that, we all get to benefit from the very diverse and knowledgeable following you have amassed.
I would like to encourage all the lurkers out there to throw in a comment or two when they feel it’s apropos and hopefully relevant.
I’ve watched a few come here, get there feet wet, and contribute meaningfully.
    It’s not just a blog,,,
    It’s a cathartic experience.
    Thanks again

  7. I’m good for five SDA T-shirts – at the very least – if Kate were to design and sell ’em.
Not only would they make excellent stocking-stuffers, but if you saw a stranger wearing one it would be an interesting conversation-starter…or a fistfight-starter.
    Either way, lots of fun!
Congratulations, Kate, and thanks for all you’ve done.

  8. I will see what I can get done about the tshirts. One problem is that the original gopher photo is too small for reproduction purposes, and will have to be enhanced by hand. But I’ll give it a shot.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I don’t know what the next 10 years will bring, but we’ll give it a shot anyway.

  9. I’m good for five SDA T-shirts – at the very least – if Kate were to design and sell ’em.
How about an SDA 10-year reunion RV jamboree? At Kate’s house. I’ll bring the weenies. But I do expect 50Amp hookup.

  10. Even just the distinctive yellow lettering – “Small dead animals” – exactly as-is, without the gopher, would be primo.
It’d really stand out on a blue or black T-shirt.

  11. Good on ya’ Kate. A decade of informative and at times really fully info.
    Love ya’.

  12. Mazel tov to Kate and crew for achieving double digits. SDA has been in my fab 5 for many years.
May I second the suggestion about offering SDA swag. Would be another fine outlet for Kate’s artistic skills.

  13. Congratulations and thank you, Kate.
Have to check in each night when I think Reader Tips is starting to fill up.
Who needs TV? Who needs the paper?
    Not me.

  14. Congratulations on this land mark. It certainly takes the edge of the main stream behemoths with their urbane and suave delivery. Often promoting an agenda, which many viewers fail to recognise as such.

  15. Congratulations Kate! You and your guest bloggers are the class acts of the ‘net. I’ve been a fan of SDA almost from the beginning and continue to enjoy the fab effort that SDA puts into squeezing the truth outta the maelstrom of confusion and subterfuge and surrounds Canadians and other World citizens everyday. SDA is a shining light. Thank you from a grateful and faithful reader.

  16. Thank you Kate.
How many people have run the best blog on the internet for a decade?
    Congratulations!
    I’ll take two Tshirts, please.
Make it three if you can work in the dead gopher.

  17. Congratulations Kate. You are simply the best. If your blog didn’t exist, the light of freedom would shine a little less bright. Thank you very everything you have done over many years. Read you blog at least once a day, and always enjoy it (except EBD’s monotonous and predictable music selections)
If it wasn’t for your blog, I am not sure where I would go to find the truth. It has been a truly great ten years. Selfish as it may sound to say, here’s to ten more!

  18. Congratulations Kate. Hard to believe it’s been 10 years and I think I first visited in 2006 or so. Now, tend to peruse the site every day and use it as my primary news source. It’s made me realize what a bizarre and deranged world people who think that the MSM is an unbiased source of news live in. Hopefully we’ve turned the corner in Canada starting off with SDA and most recently having Sun TV to puncture the solipsistic moonbat bubble and let in the blazing sunshine of objective reality.

  19. Thanks for the shout out. Kate is the heart, soul, and lifeblood of this blog. The rest of us are here just to help out with a little light dusting when she is away.

  20. Small Dead Animals (SDA) blog a Canadian CONSERVATIVE voice.
Very addictive, same as, gambling, alcohol, drugs, sex, mirror gazing…….
…….. Must make note to self …………… Seek Help!!
Well done Kate, stay the course!!

  21. Congratulations on a decade of excellence.
I clicked on a link at Ezra’s ‘Shotgun’ blog a few years back and have stay hooked since that day. Al Gore may have invented the internet, but Kate (and a few others) made it essential.

  22. Congrats Kate and thanks for these 10 years of info, entertainment and therapy.
I used to post regularly several years ago but just recently started posting again. I have never quit reading though. Here’s to the next ten.

  23. Congrats.
I Can still remember the election of 2004 -the beginning of the end of the Martin liberanos – when i discovered SDa when trying to keep abreast of things while on vacation in Maine (w dial up Internet at cottage).
SDA has been a must ever since…

  24. Its been a blast…congratulations and many more!

  25. Interesting, I thought you were more popular. 20,000 visitors per month may sound large, but I’ve created small websites for small businesses in small cities, that don’t even sell anything online and they might get 3000-4000 uniques per month. I would have expected this site to be at a magnitude much higher than it is. Not to try and burst your bubble..but uh…yeah

  26. Is math hard for you ? Over 35 million visitors in 10 years works out to what ?? I could tell you but I don’t want to burst your bubble.
