Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

There have been rumblings within the Democrat’s echo chamber of taxing people that move out of California who collect from California sources. I doubt it’s legal, but I’m surprised they’ve seen the problem.
Funny, but true. Ontario is fast becoming a similar not business friendly jurisdiction.
He should have included I 5 to Mexico.
You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave……
mid island mike.
Tell that to Facebook, Apple, Twitter and all.
Those businesses you mentioned are not “small businesses”. They are also big donors to the democrats. I’m sure that buys them breathing room from leftist over-taxation and harrassment.
Actually, they don’t see the problem: over-regulated/reaching statist government intrusion into all aspects of californians’ work and personal lives.
What they are noticing – possibly – with the outflux of disgusted citizens and businesses is the backlash to the problem.
Ontario is dangling precariously over the cliff in the not business friendly category, with the dumbest electorate in recent times, there’s little hope for much change.
As a California resident, I’d much preferred to keep the rent seekers right here in California, better sink this ship than to ship our diseases to the other states.
The famous 47% no doubt.
This cartoon also illustrates the movement of Saskatchewan young people and young families in the 80s and 90s. If you squint your eyes even the shape of Cali. looks eerily like Sask.
Liz J, as an Ontario taxpayer, I was going to say something.
But I see you’ve beaten me to the punch.
OT, click on “I got an Obama gun” while you’re checking out the map.
Perfect example of a picture being worth a thousand words.
No, no. That’s all backward.

“Ontario…with the dumbest electorate in recent times…”
Yup. Following in Quebec’s footsteps…down, Down, DOWN.
