Two months before enrollment began in the Obamacare exchanges, the administration’s top health care official heaped praise on WebMD for launching an online resource to help Americans navigate the complex law.
The consumer health care site had the occasional nice thing to say about Obamacare, too. In one article, it predicted doctors might pick up more patients and crowed in an article titled “7 Surprising Things About the Affordable Care Act” that many consumers already had received insurance refunds under the law.
But what neither Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius nor WebMD mentioned at the time was that the company, which millions of Americans regularly read for health news, also stood to earn millions of dollars from a federal contract to teach doctors about Obamacare.

I assume those who enter the medical profession are as diverse as society itself.
That being said, it certainly appears that the the CMA has been usurped by the same leftist claptrap that seems to control all professional associations nowadays.
Here’s a perfunctory search of what the CMA has been lobbying for. The list is actually almost endless.
Many of the CMA’s goals sound like they came out of the NDP’s policy platforms rather than from supposedly educated professionals.

Ban on Boxing
Ban on smoking in cars with children present
Ban on triclosan,a soap additive and acne cure, even though Health Canada states it “found no evidence of any direct health impacts”.
Has already banned the Hippocratic Oath as it conflicts with abortions etc.
Ban on tanning beds by age
CMA is discussing allowing currently restricted blood donations from sexually active homosexual men so as to be tolerant and progressive.
Ban on heroin as a pain manager for death bed patients even though there is no equal substitute…politics over patient pain.
Changing their anti-euthenasia policy to allow assisted suicides
Ban on all antibacterial cleaners
Bought & paid for , by your racist concious, death loving left. Where all people are categorized by inanity made up castes for people.Where folks are just animals. NO morals exist crowd. The ne’er do wells needs outweigh the few real workers or producers.
