    To easiest way to explain how dumb the 97% consensus claim is is by replacing climate change with another controversial issue :
    1) women get pregnant
    2) sometimes abortions are necessary
    Voila! Since most, if not all, medical experts agree with those two statements the researcher now claims that 99-100% of experts agree that abortions should be performed right up until 40 weeks and fully funded by the taxpayer. It’s an irrefutable consensus, right? Sure, as long as you ignore all the controversial scientific issues about when life begins and all of the relevant public policy issues.
    That’s basically how this “consensus” was arrived at. More revealing is that a computer leak shows that the researcher wrote the conclusion * before* reviewing the 12000 papers and it looks like he tailored the questions to ensure the desired result. This is not science, it’s total BS….but good enough for media/political work.

    The damage done and the cost will take generations to repair.. Its very good to see some major corners of society calling out these charlatan’s for what they are..
    The liberal left is morally bankrupt.. They have nothing left to offer so they concoct problems as fast as they enrich themselves with solutions.. Its like half our population has alzheimer disease and we put them in charge of teaching our children..
    Its to the point where I see no value in the political balance they used to provide.. We are better off without them.. In fact humanities future depends on accurate intelligence NOT green liberal leftist make work projects..

  3. The basic premise of progressia is a lie – that the world can be made better by intrusive statism – all the little off-shoot agendas of the poisoned oak are similarly, a cruel lie/promise. The AGW con was just another “white lie” meant to put the state further into your life.
    The real indicator of this being an objective assessment of the AGE/climate change narrative being a marxist based agenda is the way legitimate science-based dissent is attacked by the foamy-mouthed hoards. It’s a virtual political cult. Sad in the max – but seeing what the public school system has ground out the last 2 decades, I’m not surprised.

  7. I’ve had great fun over the years asking the noisiest AGW Proponents how the sun has affected temperatures on Earth. You would have thought that I had asked them to recite to me the first 50 digits of Pi … in Russian! Absolutely dumbfounded dufuses. Problem #1 with being a cult member is refusing to ask any questions.

    I think that too much tax is deducted at source for ordinary salaried people. They lose track of how much tax they are paying. Thus, proposals which lead to big increases in taxes are barely resisted.
    Microsoft is for people who like paying taxes. AGW is for people who like paying taxes. May people who like paying tax get lots more tax to pay.
