I find it curious that nobody has commented that this law (and attitudes towards women) are not a symptom they are the cause. I’ve said it before, the whole purpose of Islam is to allow men to have access to women and young girls before the law. As in legally. Shariah law. Created to give men life and death control over women. Including after death. Can you imagine living with a man you might hate so much your only solace is hoping to die and then realizing he will still violate you after you do? Now that is control and that is the sole purpose of Islam.
Islam means submission. Who knew it would include after death.

Funny that….it seems Arabia was Hindu and animist prior to Islam. The KAABA is a Hindu shrine and the word KAABA is Hindi for shrine.
Islam appears to be a mismash of Tuareg culture and borrowings from Zoroasterism, Judism and Chritianity conveniently/intentionally warped to justify dominence over women and subject peoples.

Question: Is it Islamophobic-racist to express shock about this, or is it racist to not be shocked at all? Surely shock implies an expectation that western cultural norms would and should rule the day in Egypt.
