Fighting the Multicultists is an Uphill Battle

French President Nicolas Sarkozy, now trying earnestly to deal with a decades old immigration integration problem, is accused of using “extreme right-wing rhetoric” by his moral superiors on the Left.
If memory serves, wasn’t similar rhetoric used by the Red Star when Jason Kenney decided to ban veils at citizenship ceremonies?

  1. That Sarkozy is talking openly about it is welcomed news, for it means some French are intent on dealing with the issue and finding a way out of their dilemma. It may be a little too late though.
Canada hasn’t even broached the topic.

  2. The Left only have one play, so its not surprising they sound the same on both sides of the ocean. They know the Great Ship of State just hit bottom in Europe, they’re trying to drive it up on the rocks. No wonder that they are giving their all now that they are so close to their goal.

It seems he finally realized that if nothing is done soon there is danger of the Mullahs taking power in France.

  4. Rodney – new applications for family parents and grandparents was frozen for two years in 2010. The numbers referred to are for old applications.
The problem is integration and the fact that our Constitution actually enables and encourages isolation rather than integration; actually enables people to close themselves off as ‘identity groups’ whose particular beliefs and behaviour are constitutionally protected.
That’s from Trudeau’s Charter – which is an integral part of our Constitution. And much beloved by the left who require it to prove they are ‘compassionate’.

  5. Multi cult as an deeply flawed indoctrinated premise which requires its adhereant to become blind to reality in order to maintain a false sense of moral superiority.
Interestingly multicult does not exist where the minorities it presumes to protect are the majority culture.

  6. It is a question of honesty. The unassimilated wogs that are infesting our countries are indeed a huge problem for all of us on left and the right.
The difference is that we on the right have always been willing to identify it, name it and want something done about it.
The left continue to whistle their way passed the graveyard.

Yep. And the older I get, the less “compassionate” I become. Has something to do with spending a lot of time in the medical profession, watching the government waste cubic yards of money on people that don’t deserve it, while shafting people who do.
Please note, I do not view this as the fault of the PATIENTS. If some unpleasant, unhelpful, mean old lady from abroad immigrates and gets the full-Monty two million dollar workup for free at an Ontario hospital, which I have to pay for, you know that’s not her fault. She might be the mother of all terrorists and its -still- not her fault I have to pay for her hospital bill.
    Its my fault.
That’s the really painful thing. Its -my- fault for letting Liberals run the show in this country for 70 years. And it’ll be me that fixes it or the country will crash into ruination like Detroit Michigan, because the Liberals show no sign of getting a clue.
So all you guys above getting mad at the “wogs”, smarten up. The wogs didn’t do this. WE DID. They are not the problem, and in fact they are victims of it the same as you are. Turn your sights on the source of the problem, never mind the old ladies from Whereverstan. Liberals must be defeated, particularly the ones hiding in the CPC pretending to be Conservatives.
End socialized, single payer medicine and you end the problem. End cradle to grave welfare and you end the problem. Cure those two things and sane Muslims will pay money NOT to be sent to Canada, where its cold and the mean scary White people live.
Why do you guys think Muslims all live in Toronto? Its because they’re scared to live in small town Ontario, duh! Too many insane hockey playing, truck driving, popcorn eating types running around loose.
Then there are the curlers. OMG, the curling freaks… -shudder- …

  8. Bullcrap rhetoric from a left wing elitist nut to maintain his position of power in the next election.
France knows they have too many Third World immigrants; they live with them every day. He’s pandering to the obvious social unrest claiming that he will “cut immigration in half”.
What about cutting it to ZERO?
    Typical Liberal Progressive BS again.

Points taken. But “patients”? Are they so innocuous? Is there only one threat, only ourselves to blame? Really?

  10. Isn’t the end result of multi-culturalism called WAR???
And Sir Froggy get give a toad’s butt about saving his country. He just wants his job and entitlements.

  11. Nick said: “Is there only one threat, only ourselves to blame? Really?”
Pretty much, IMHO. Looking at it any other way just gives power to the enemy. We did it, that means we can -fix- it. May take a while, but that’s how these things work. Slowly.
That’s how you move a mountain, one shovelful at a time.

    Too right.
Multi-culturalism is an oxymoron. Even the hypocritical, lying Liberal left tends to bash Christianity (not Islam) for all the wars and genocide in history.
Obviously this is idealistic activism and propaganda but they also neglect the fact that even with religion involved you are still dealing with differences in “culture” at the core of every conflict. Some cultural conflicts are subtle, others far more dramatic, regardless “multi-culturalism” will always be a failure.
In the west, we are simply being forced to divide up our nation’s wealth and resources with other cultures purely on the Liberal notion of social justice, without any real justice or cultural self preservation involved. It’s a mentally disturbed, homicidal and suicidal personality that rationalizes this line of thought as good for their own culture.

  13. Nick, just had another thought. Let’s grant for the sake of argument that Islamists and their plotting are a problem in Canada.
If we didn’t give away free stuff like drunken sailors, would they work hard at home in Whereverstan so their could come live in Canada, for the purpose of kicking our infidel @sses?
    Maybe five or six would.

  14. I have had a lotta time in the 3rd world and thought I basically understood them.
    T’other day I was chatting with a Sikh, a recent immigrant…owner operator…truck driver…can (container) hauler…..I get along with these guys….but….
I asked him what bothered him most about Canada and Candian culture.
    “Servants are so very expensive.”
It seems he had 4-5 in India….
    There’s yer sign…..

Most foreign cultures aspire to have enough money for servants. Some are looking for discrete slavery as in the Middle East and the Indian Sub Continent.
Very cheap domestic servants in South East Asia for example, most of them really don’t understand that culturally the majority of us continue to do our own house keeping regardless of having the money to hire regular maids.
One friend of mine has two live-in maids in the Philippines for $120.00 USD per month. They cook, clean, shop and mind the kids all day every day.
Many expats I know take their “good” maids from country to country following their own employment transfers/ promotions, a widely accepted cultural practice acknowledged by Labor, Immigration & Customs authorities of these same countries.
That said the majority of these western expats are western society dropouts, they are simply following local cultural norms.

  16. Phantom@1:52&2:31: Agreed that we, or some of us, are our worst enemies. There are, as you say, others, who we invite to stay, even offer them our necks. In that respect, we don’t deserve to survive.
I wish I could share your optimism that we can fix it. Slow it down, maybe.
    Cheers,
