A civil, colour blind discussion would focus on whether black poverty and other social problems are best addressed with liberal or conservative solutions. Calling someone an enemy of their own race is effectively creating a ghetto not on a city landscape but on the political spectrum. The cohesiveness of American society is not served by people voting for one party as a representative of their race or ethnicity, but by parties championing colour blind ideas and solutions.
