I Can See Joe McGinniss’ Ass From My House

Uh oh…

Jesse–
Legal review of my manuscript is underway and here’s my problem: no one has ever offered documentation of any of the lurid stories about the Palins.

  1. What grok said. The email he penned smacks of extreme panic and desperation. I imagine this is not going to end well for McGinniss.

  2. I think I mentioned before a previous McGuinnis book, Castle Di Sangro, in which the author goes to Italy and inserts himself into the day-to-day running of a soccer team and is completely oblivious to the ass that he makes of himself.

  3. Dear Joe:
    Two things
    1. If you can’t say something nice don’t say anything.
    2. When you point your finger at somebody you have three pointing back at you.
As for you Random House, you published this book because you don’t like Sarah Palin. You bought Joe’s stories because you thought you could make some money bashing her. If somebody came to you with a tell all about a pol you like you would reject it out of hand.

  4. Imagine if someone did this to Obama instead of the republican vice presidential candidate, who didn’t get elected.
I wonder what we would find out if he was properly vetted back then, or even properly vetted now before the next election. Considering that he is a lead weight on the entire democratic ticket, maybe some insiders will leak some of the dirt we know is there.
I can’t beleive the Clinton machine couldn’t find anything. The Obama handlers must have had something huge on Hillary to keep her quiet.

  5. Random House is likely banking that Palin will not sue as doing so would bring much more attention to the slanders.
But if she could show that the lies damaged her reputation preventing her from becoming POTUS, what would that be worth?

  6. “Thus, she gets to denounce what she calls “lies.””
Thus, she gets to sue McGinness’ ass into oblivion.
    CHA- CHING!!!!
Shoot where the hairs cross the most, Sarah!
    About Crown Random House,
“In 2002 Bertelsmann admitted that they lied about their involvement with Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party, which included making profits from slave labour and publishing propaganda. The revelations came to light during their takeover of US book publisher Random House in 1998; Bertelsmann used a revised account of their Nazi past to smooth the deal.[5]”(emphasis mine)
    Revenue: €15.353 billion (2009)

Fascists are as fascists do, and the fascists Sarah soon will sue.
Ha! Publish that, Random House; soon to be Tabloid Shack.
You betcha darn tootin’ she’s gonna sue.

How hard do you think they looked when being called racist amounts to the kiss of death, politically, among their peer group ?

  8. What Palin says must really scare him.
When the left gets scared, they get real nasty.
This is as nasty as it gets.

  9. Haha! The creepy stalker’s book is a load of doodoo which will not hurt Palin! I don’t believe even the lying left can make anything out of this trash. EBD expressed a contrary opinion to mine on the subject, but now I triumph over EBD! (Please don’t be cross EBD :-))
I don’t generally favour defamation lawsuits, but the Palins should sue McGinnis into the ground if possible. Sarah’s in rather a unique position and she needs to play offense here; what I mean is, brand this as what it is, a creep’s collection of lies, before Stewbert et al. try to spin it as anything else. (I disagree with Rick @12:34 – this book will need no attention brought to it, Palin being who she is, and her enemies being who they are.)

  10. Let’s not get too sympathetic towards a Clinton. Either one.
Does anyone really think that Hillary would be any better? She and that impeached husband of hers are both globalists and One World Government advocates.
Obama is a pathetic front man for all of the socialistic beliefs of both Clintons. If he gets a primary challenge and Hillary ‘reluctantly’ accepts to ‘sacrifice’ for her country you can bet it is a bamboozle of the highest order.
You cannot trust communists, black or white, Obama
    OR Clinton.
    The Clintons are MUCH sneakier!

  11. The book by McGuiness is an example of what the left will stoop to to get their own way.
They LIE. All of them. Any of them.
They are vicious and nasty and LIE.
Time to take a new broom and sweep clean.
    We had better.
We risk drowning in the sewage the left have filled the debate, airwaves and our culture entire.

  12. ‘Sue Sarah, sue’, I’m of the same mindset Ken Kulak. Nothing hurts a lefty more than paying out from their own ‘stash’.

  13. @ Snowbunnie, today’s left has learned well from their Bolshevik ideological fore bearers. Think McGuinty in Ontario, he lies like a rug.

  14. syncro – what do you know? Out with it; I really despise the fat dork and need something on him besides his politics.

  15. Note that in his missive, he admits he has no evidence but rather begs those whose accounts he likes to back up their stories – which none has done. Yet many are still in the book.
This is another Bellesiles scandal in the making. Rememner, that book claimed (among other obvious misinformation) that Thomas Jefferson must not have owned any firearms because his will did not specifically mention any – while visitors to his manse will see some of his guns on display. And B cited documents which do not exist. Yet it was published to much acclaim, even by professional historians – it took “amateur” history buffs to expose the lies and mis-statements.
