This Is My Brother Mohammed, And This Is My Other Brother Mohammed

Allahu Akbar!

Afghan President Hamid Karzai met recently with members of the country’s clerical councils to get their assistance in persuading insurgents not to hide explosives in suicide bombers’ turbans or in other religious or cultural symbols.

  1. well I guess they’ll have to start using man-purses to hide their bombs in instead…that should be fine.

  2. Somebody should draw a cartoon about this … the putting a bomb in the turban part.

  3. A man’s turban has important religious and cultural significance and it is considered dishonourable to touch it.
The Talibs are only doing what works by hiding their bombs in places that can’t be searched without tearing down Islamic culture.
This practice either drives a wedge between bombless turban wearers, the government and it’s ISAF guests by offending them with searches or the collaborators get blown up.
    It’s a win-win tactic for the Taliban.
Maybe Karzai should be asking the Talibs to wear identifiable uniforms, he’ll get the same results.
All is fair in love and war, it’s just that the Talibs aren’t very much into loving.

  4. well…he might be a redneck, drawling ‘Murcan….but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s completely and absolutely right…let’s get him some hits

and to take it a bit further…the ‘arab spring’ and every other bit of taliban and al-qaeda activity is intended to finish up in just one place….Jerusalem…

  5. Wonder if it’ll be this year’s metrosexual fashion trend, now that the keffiyeh is so last-year.

  6. “The Taliban, however, appear to have responded by hiding a bomb in a mosque in Kandahar province.”
Hm, it seems more “outreach” is needed.
I don’t know exactly what to do about this one,if it was in Toronto,I’d recommend more basketball courts, but in Kabul, who knows what sport they crave.
Maybe, after all the infidels leave, and the Country once more submits to sharia law, we’ll see less of this.

  7. Perhaps the Gap or Benetton should start selling turbans with nice zippered bomb compartments. Clearly there is an under-served market segment. /

  8. “…..to get their assistance in persuading insurgents not to hide explosives in suicide bombers’ turbans or in other religious or cultural symbols.”
’cause that might make it wrong…or somethin’.

  9. They should drop us a line and let us know how it worked out. However, I get the feeling that dealing with mad SOBs might not be productive. It’s just this feeling I have.

  10. meanwhile…while 75% of Americans disapprove of ‘bama’s handling of the economy and their opinions of him are dropping like a rock, his approval rating among muslim Americans is running at over 80%…funny ’bout that.

  11. Let’s see now. The Islamoturds want to kill us over here in North America – they really hate the US but I don’t think they’re too worried about a little Canadian collateral damage. They blow the crap out of people all around the globe. They are just crazy about killing Jews and now they’re putting bombs in their own mosques and killing themselves (I realize killing each other isn’t a new phenomenon but the line worked with the story).
I’m starting to see a theme here. They hate everyone! These guys and gals just live and love to hate! Seems like far too much work to me. They need to start putting some of the latest wheelchair weed into their hookahs and mellow out a bit.

  12. “Yeah because the religion of peace might get kind of a reputation or something.”
    Exactly,richfisher.
When I was a kid in Sunday School, our Church Minister,Rev.Wilkie, strictly forbade the packing of explosives into our hollowed out Bibles.
It was this kind of leadership which led to a singular lack of Bible-bombs in rural Manitoba in the ‘fifties.
In fact, the subject of Bible-bombs is rarely mentioned any more back in old Mb.

  13. My path to divinity school was permanently(and happily) derailed by an incident involving a stink bomb let off in Anglican confirmation class.
at the time,I never thought to try the turban gag though, it might have thrown them off.

  14. You need to than the Danish Cartoonist Kurt Westergaard for giving them the idea!
They never would have thought of it themselves until he printed the “controversial” cartoons. It’s a win win for all really. They get to be martyrs and meet 72 homosexual virgins; the world get’s to be rid of at least one more of them.
As far as the Afghanistan government – I suggest they stop feigning political correctness and start searching or shooting people with fat, out of place looking turbans.
