I Can See Their Irrelevancy From My House

For …reporters looking for more details, Palin isn’t providing them. Palin’s staff has been unresponsive to reporters’ requests or told them to check the SarahPAC website, which updates with information only after she’s stopped somewhere.

Heh…

The confusing nature of the trip – which was planned by two advance aides recently hired by Palin – played out at a coffee shop this morning, where Palin stopped to shake hands with locals in what looked to reporters like the very definition of a campaign-style photo-opportunity. Multiple people showed up at the event saying they were there because they wanted to see history –but they wouldn’t say where they had come from or how they had heard about the event.
“I just want to say that I’m witnessing history happening,” one woman said – three times. She wouldn’t give her name.

  1. Of course Sarah Palin will can never get elected. Imagine that,a woman in the oval office, above the desk,it just can’t happen.
OTOH,who would have thought it possible that America would elect an empty suit posing as a black man 6 years ago.

  2. ” will can never get elected”
I wish want there was a preview button around here somewhere.

  3. “Given that he barely got an increase in the vote share, Harper would have a minority now if voters hadn’t catched NDPitis and gone crazy”
Wrong. Dippers found the french vote, that’s it.
Clinton was smart enough to move his policies to the center, bam bam doesn’t have that capability, after all he’s nothing but a hip hop cool president who’s about to get dumped, by either his own party or by the GOP.

  4. “OTOH,who would have thought it possible that America would elect an empty suit posing as a black man 6 years ago.”
    Right on the money.

  5. Palin, if she survives the nomination process, will have the Country in an up side fever…All news cycles will be dominated by Palin…She will have a cake walk into the Oval office…
The challenge is her against the MSM. The more they try to slight her.. the more popular she becomes…
    JMHO

  6. @multirec: NO. Harper barely nudged up his %. The large increase in seats can only be accounted for by vote splitting accentuated by and NDP surge based in Quebec that also spilled out to the rest of the country where it was much weaker.

  7. Phillip, I think that you’re right, it’s Palin’s time. What I’m curious about is who she’ll pick as VP, COL West seems to excite Americans, but he says that he’s not ready. Cain semms to be moving forward and getting noticed, unfortunately as well by the left wing main stream media, so you KNOW the mud is about to be slung in every direction. Personally, I’d love to see a Palin/Ryan ticket, but in the end as long as dumbo is gone, Canada should heave a big sigh of relief.

  8. “@multirec: NO. Harper barely nudged up his %. The large increase in seats can only be accounted for by vote splitting accentuated by and NDP surge based in Quebec that also spilled out to the rest of the country where it was much weaker”
Wrong. Dippers trounced Quebec, the PC actually gained votes in the rest of the country, not that you’ll hear that from the MSM.
BTW, what vote splitting, dippers slaughtered the libs, the libs certainly didn’t rob any ndp voters. Did you know that in BC after the elections, the paper the next day had a huge front page saying ” the orange crush”, compared to the little headlines about a Tory majority.
The media doesn’t get it, but Canadians do.

  9. The media reduced to rumors & gossip. No where have they mentioned she dosent do reporters any more, after the multidudious libals at their hands.
Why should she have anything to do with them when they hate her, smear & degrade her family?
A true Women in all senses. Inigmatic & unknowable. With a dash of Female unpredicatability. No wonder she has the boys going nuts. lol.

  10. If Sarah Palin can educate some of the slime street media then the trip could produce a few real journalists who love and respect the Constitution and realize the genius and wisdom of the Founding Fathers. The fools backing the Self appointed first Tzar of USA and his gaggle of ‘other Tzars” might open their eyes if they learn some history.
Americans, I believe, are angry and sorry that they believed the hoopy changie hoopla that brought an unknown stranger into the White House on a ticket lined with teenie bopper hype and emotional mush. Americans were looking for a change because the msm had convinced them that ‘W’ was evil or stupid or both. ‘W’, IMO, proved many times that he was a patriotic man and that he was doing the best job that he could, as President, for the American people. I listened to what he said…esp to what he said when he did not have a script. The American lame stream slime media, like the Canadian version, has now lost all credibility: Sarah could serge past the Obahama Tzar with ease because she believes in the American people and the Constitution. Sarah is real, Tzar Obahama is an actor. IMO.
If Sarah is forcing the little msm kiddies to run around in circles in dangerous traffic…enter Dirty Harry: ‘make my day’.

  11. “I just hope to God that one of these young producers with a camera whose bosses are making them follow Sarah Palin as a potential Republican candidate don’t get in a car crash, because this is dangerous,” [CBS News Producer Ryan Corsaro] said.
That is one of the most loaded if not just strange statements. So, it’s Palin’s fault if a reporter gets in a car accident?! These media folks are deranged.

  12. Heh. The leftard trolls are so damn transparent. If they really believed that Palin was a shoo-in to lose the election to Obamugabe, don’t you think they’d be beside themselves with glee when they see any evidence that she may be running?
Truth is, they are scared shirtless that she will run and win. They know they lost big-time here in Canada, and they are still in shock over that, but they take comfort in the fact that the marxists are still in power in Washington. They know that Palin is one of the few potential GOP candidates with the wherewithal to capture the hearts, and votes of the great middle bloc of American voters.
The more the Left whines and squeals about Palin, the better she looks.

  13. Right on, Robert. I think she learned to dis the Media Party at Stevie’s knee.
The difference between Harper and Palin is similar to the difference between Canada and the USA. Harper figured out the best method to handle a hostile press with a 24 hour news cycle is to just shut them out. It kills them to have nothing to talk about, because they have so much dead air to fill. But its a sedate, tasteful kind of shut-out. No big thing, we just don’t give interviews to the press. Ever. And the press goes slowly nuts. Genius.
Palin takes that concept and soups it up. Typical American, grabbing a good idea with both hands and running with it. Now the press are going nuts turbo-nitrous version. Genius!

  14. Harper give interviews. He did at least one a day during the campaign. They were all local media, not the PPG lamestream retards. The scrum gotcha bs from the ppg is where the trouble is and he stays away from those pieces of garbage.

  15. Sarah Palin’s media shut out couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch. The MSM—make that the Lamestream media’s—asinine, self-serving comments about the “danger” their reporters are in, for a self-chosen pursuit, is pure bilge: but one expects nothing less from these adult-cry-baby idiots. (And, like the toddlers they are, they aren’t even aware of how stupid they sound.)
I noticed the large cross Sarah was wearing with her biker outfit recently. Her fearlessness has everything to do with her faith. She knows she’s not alone as she speaks truth to power. Ephesians 6: 10 – 14:
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness . . .”
    Godspeed, Sarah!

  16. “Given that he barely got an increase in the vote share, Harper would have a minority now if voters hadn’t catched NDPitis and gone crazy.” libsaresmarter
Sorry, but Harper won. Even if people buy your line of reasoning, he will be judged not where he started, but where the country ends up. Those who are from the left are worried he will do a good job, and rightly so. Harper is a conviction politician, and is not the all-too-typical political type who entered politics because it offers the possibility of a Hollywood-type allure and minor celebrity to the successful participant.

  17. Harper gained 800,000 votes this time round. That’s more than an entire province’s worth. He also lost votes in Quebec, which is why stupid lefties – sorry, I repeat myself – think he didn’t make significant gains, since they’ve only seen the overall totals. Losing the votes of people whom you don’t want to represent in the first place really isn’t such a bad thing, you know.
