Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Well done Kate…as usual. This one reminds me of the “breakup clock” that resided, annually, under the bridge in Fort Mac.
Jerry Reed’s line from ‘She got the goldmine – I got the shaft’ comes to mind: “Well it all seems mighty funny, it just hurts to much to laugh”
Every time the “It’s probably nothing” header is attached to an article I usually have a good chuckle at the content and all the left burying their collective heads in the sand, then after pondering it for a minute, I’m not sure if a guy should just cry…
I keep telling my self common sense will rule the day, I’m just no longer sure which day or if common sense is really that common…
Yeah…….it’s probably nothing……..
Like most things down here south of 50….these things vary by days and weeks….and represent nothing….like the first killing frost of autumn.
I recall one year back in the ’60’s where a cornfield in the river bottom got frosted every month of the year….and in ’81 having an out-door inground swimming pool too cold for recreation from July 2 until August 21…..then it was great until Sept 23….
Well deserved kudos Kate! Your headlines are the best!
In this instance, this information is meaningless. Because of data and stuff. Which you don’t undertand. Because you’re not as smart as we are. Plus we’re not letting you see it. Also: Shut up.
(Climate Change? – that’s pretty vague. Or how about Climate Instability?)
You’ve got pull, girl. Proud of ya.
BWHAHAHAHAHAHA
From the comments at Watts Up With That
“Great phrase indeed. Should be the first line in the Abstract of tooooo many ‘published’ papers these days.
Or maybe they need a whole new Journal of Probably Nothing, peer reviewed by experts in that field.”
It (AGW) is nothing, and whenever that warmists try to tell us it is, we can say Nenanana!
You may have noticed that many totally duped folks are still pounding away at the global warming meme but have completely dropped the “human caused” part of it. None of them will admit that any global warming that they continue to argue is occurring, may just be a natural fluctuation, though.
They just convince themselves that nothing and nobody can tell them the global temp is not rising (no evidence required) and that is an alarming anomaly (no evidence required) which we humans are responsible for (no evidence required) and therefore must do something about (no evidence that it is in our power to do so is required though).
From the comments on that WUWT article:
“they need a whole new Journal of Probably Nothing, peer reviewed by experts in that field”.
I plan to start a new doctoral program of Nothing, at the University of Mindlessness, starting this fall.
I’ll be advertising on the nothing.net website. Check it out!
