  1. Iowahawk is such a comic genius with his posts and always has a gentlemanly way of going about his needling. A class act always that I have seen.

  2. Today I saw a bunch of high-school students holding up pro-Earth Day signs at a busy SkyTrain (metro) station. One of them said, “Tar Sands Are Evil”. It wouldn’t surprise me one little bit if she’s dropped off and picked up every day by her parents in their car.
    The irony, the irony!

  3. If you scroll to the bottom of that page of CO2 emitting joy, you might spot a pic of the 3 year old version of a fairly frequent poster to these parts………
    Ahem….
    LOL

  4. “…the corporate pigs busted him just because he thoughtfully composted his girlfriend in 1977…”
…if she’d only have eaten those organic mushrooms…

  5. Did a little bit of yard cleaning to-day. Used lots of those heavy duty garbage bags. I don’t want all that stuff to rot right?

  6. It is seldom mentioned that one of the Bronfman matriarchs was aiding and abetting this man when he was hiding in France, thinking that it was big bad government that was picking on him. But, as always, big money wins and she got off as a mentally frail woman who meant good.

  7. To celebrate Earth Day today I have the A/C running, and drove around for absolutely no reason at all in my new (to me, anyway) 1986 F-350 crew-cab dualie mechanical fuel injected diesel. Non-turbo, non-soot capturing, non-urea injecting, non-computerized big @ss frickin’ chunk of invincible Dee-troit iron.
It emits CO2 -and- soot. ~:) Still gets between 12mpg and 15 mpg, so its not bad for a barge.
I decided to go BIG for the Phantom Southern Command’s mobile unit because I keep seeing cars upside down beside the road when its clear, dry and sunny out. I’ve seen four or five like that in six weeks of casual cruising around.
Besides, it was frickin’ cheap. Bwaha!
Naturally the antique short backed seats and belts had to go, so now it sports four snazzy racing seats, five points and a new carpet. And flaming skulls. It really needed flaming skulls to complete the artistic statement I was trying to make.

  8. Lenin’s birthday party was cancelled in Edmonton this year because, apparently, of a lack of volunteers. I guess that should tell the greenies something.

  9. Phantom – Flaming Skulls, that is truly classic, even classical; It think Caravaggio used them a lot, didn’t he?

  10. I celebrated by doing some yard cleanup and burning winter trash that had been trapped in the snow. I also fired up the old RV and let the batteries charge as I drank a beer and dreamed of the warmer planet promised by the lying sack of sh*t Saint Suzuki and his Cult.

  11. To celebrate earth day I burned some highly recyclable cardboard, and used my pressure washer for 3 hours cleaning off my deck that is made from murdered cedars. I’m trying hard to feel guilty.

  12. For Earth Day? Move aside, Gaia: I went to church to worship the Creator of the Earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Jesus!

  13. (tooting own horn)
Woo-Hoo! Iowahawk accepted my entry for his Earth Day Cruise-In. It should be pretty evident which one is mine.

  14. And how about a big hand for Colonel Gaddafi and the good people of Libya too?
Their ongoing fracas has resulted in nearly two months of Toyota trucks and heavy armour roaring back and forth across their country! Think of all the gas and diesel fumes.
Add to that the fine folks at NATO with their extended airpower demonstrations of high-performance aircraft! They’re burning jet fuel and blasting off expensive weaponry like there’s no tomorrow.
To quote Honorary Possum Lodge Member Ezra Levant: “YAHOOOO!”
