  3. I know the president is not against all wars – just dumb ones. But could any war be dumber than this
    Open hostilities would be over already if the French hadn’t recognized the National Transitional Council of the Libyan Republic(rebels) as the new government of Libya before they actually, you know, controled Libya.

  7. Oz, that little bit of info is true could ultimately end up in raising the conflict level real high.
    To think we are providing air cover for Hamas to carry off these weapons.
    steve, I expect that the Israelis are keeping this option front and center.

  8. Perhaps the NATO led no fly squad could over-fly the east bound convoys and accidentally drop a bit of ordnance in their general vicinity, to help protect the citizens, natch!

  10. It’s cruel – I mean this – for The Atlantic to keep publishing Sullivan. Firing him would be cruel as well, but then I doubt that magazine’s been a big deal for over a century or whatever because they were too nice to fire people.
    Apparently Sully used to be a fine writer. I’ve read that he was. Okay. But he’s been open about the mind-altering treatments he’s undergoing, currently as I understand, for the HIV virus. He’s also been writing mad conspiracy-gibberish about Sarah Palin’s reproductive system for, like, years, now. There are s*xual/political/crazy issues here that Freud couldn’t begin to spelunk. Poor Sully needs to be eased out of this “journalism” business.

  12. Andrew Sullivan is a psycho-chicken. Nothing he says surprises me. I can’t even work up any schadenfreude, it’d be like picking a fight with a toddler.
    Now, all those -other- Lefties out there having a collective hernia at the thought of Obama arming both sides of a civil war for oil, THEM I’m laughing at. Hard. ~:D
    Just a reminder Lefties, in Bush’s illegal war, all the shooting and blowing up stuff was over in five days. Five. Days. Bary’s illegal war is three weeks already. Lets impeach Bary!
