  2. I was a hospitality designer(restaurants, hotels, resorts) for approx. 20 years. I also designed the “back of house” kitchen and storage facilities. The Ontario Building Code and Health Code were very detailed and specified numerous sink areas for specific functions. The last project was a Sushi Restaurant/Coffee Bar at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Both the owners and the development were stunned/amazed at the number of sinks required (hand-washing, prep sink, pre-wash at dishwasher, janitor sink and then there were public and staff washrooms as well as handicapped facilities). The Public Health Inspector was super impressed that I knew all of the requirements.

    And, I am NOT surprised that the trade talks collapsed. Canada has been cozying up to China since Trudeau 1.0. It seems as if no one has read the book “1984”. We are living the book – there is Russia, China and the United States. It is guaranteed that at least 2 of the powers will be at war with each other. Canada has invited China into our North. Why would the United States be “OK” with having a belligerent on its northern border?

    1. I’ve had various entrepreneur types tell me that when they first saw the requirements for starting a restaurant, they got a sinking feeling. I may be starting to understand them now.

  4. Great Success! Trump has announced that as of Jan 1st 50% tariffs will go on all cars and trucks, steel etc from Canada. Well, as long as the French language and Quebec culture is protected that is all that matters.

    1. Nah … Newsom’s last act will be to negotiate a trade deal with Communist Chyyyynahhhh … to DUMP spy-EV’s in CA against Federal Trade restrictions. LOL … not so much as it’s completely possible.

    Of course he hasn’t, nor on the blatant and disgusting ‘bait and switch’ they pulled with the supposed topic of this ‘Tribunal’. He also refuses to say a word about the 12 million dollars Canada gave the Kamloops band to dig for graves (which they have refused to actually do)…what happened to that money, and can we get it back?

    COWARD.

    1. Political whore. It’s his job. To remain relevant … to please everyone. And in Canada that means to HATE America/Trump and fawn over First Peoples
