  15. I know people who travel to the Middle East on business, and they don’t tend to think much of most Arabs. And Saudis are among the worst: Ignorant, arrogant, bigoted, intolerant, dishonest, deceitful, lazy, and always ready to lie cheat and steal.

  26. Kursk; (battle? sub?) did 6 months in Riyadh, and it was indescribable. The culture is so…. Weird. Aside from the usual suspects, like beheading and slavery, they have this attitude, like “why maintain the equipment? It will work if god wills it.” You could not pay me to go back.

  39. Dave; I don’t think I did. I’ve been there, and they are everything pst314 said. If it were up to me, I’d deport the ones we have. I have a number of relatives in Scandinavia, and they all hate these people with a passion.

    I hear you..my job was to instruct on diesel generators etc. and I swear to God it was like herding cats..the most frustrating work I have ever done.
    ” ..Why it work?” ..after 150 hrs in instruction..
    Changing a truck battery was rocket science, took all day and 9/10 times was hooked up backwards.
    Sabotaging their work for days off..’Engineers’ with degrees that were worthless, teaching others how to build multi-story buildings that would collapse after a few stories were built..going through 4 months worth of toilet paper in 10 days!!! the only thing they were fanatically observant about was washing their as*es every 35 seconds….ignorant about the most basic facts of life…workers disappearing with supplies, tools and site plans..catching a worker trying to drunkenly have sex with a stray dog, then blaming the dog for trying to seduce him!…no women around, but the company doctor kept getting more and more cases of the clap reported to him..importing a brand new post driver from japan at astronomical cost, having the ‘driver’ run it into a crater and destroy it within the first half hour of operation…refusal to wear safety equipment, 5 deaths in 2 months from falls and impalement on re-bar…watering the concrete down to make extra profit..weekly death threats over anything, looks, the direction the wind was blowing..etc. etc. etc..
    Accuracy? Craftsmanship? Work ethic? Technique?
    Please..if Allah wants this building to stay up, or keep this car running,or make everyone show up at least 3 hours late, than he will make it happen..!
