  1. You’re not allowed to do that, are you?
‘Lousy defense man: He could have tackled the guy at any time. Neither team deserves to win!

  2. Hilarious. You could almost see the kid thinking to himself as he walked through the line “Am I going to get away with it”.

  3. I’ve never seen a play like this before and I’ve seen some pretty good trick plays. It is excellent. I have a friend who teaches high school in Oshawa and he is also the offensive line coach. What many people don’t realize is that a snap is any movement of the ball backwards after play has been called to start. The ball does not need to go between the legs. These kids would probably not know this but their coaches probably do. The play was sold because of the acting involved. I don’t know what the word exchange was between the QB and the Centre but as soon as the centre handed the QB the ball he had clearly moved it backward and in play. The coaches for the team on defense probably started yelling to get him once he crossed the line of scrimmage because they realized it was legal. Very cool play.

  4. Its called the Brad Wall. Brad Wall takes the snap and walks through the Link line of NDP defense, all the way down to the end zone. Link, Yates, Safeway Sandra all stand around and wonder, WTF?!!

  5. It’s called “The Next Thing Liberals Will Ban”…because cheating’s only okay when they are stealing elections.
This might make a middle schooler feel bad.

  6. That was the play the Lions were going to use to beat the Riders this Sunday. How did that high school get it?

  7. The play was within the rules. But, IMHO was a garbage play. NFL, CFL or college I would have been fine with it.
But this is middle school and if it’s anything like my son’s league any sort of excessive hit and a player could be gone for the game and/or the season. Here you have the coach pretending to tell the QB to walk back the ball another 5 yards after a penalty. So now any QB that wants to walk the ball back is going to get jumped on by the whole offensive line. We’ll see how long that lasts…..

  8. It’s the ” act like you’re in charge play”. He started to march off 5 more yards just like a referee, and the other team just figured he knew what he was doing until too late. I like it.

  9. It should have been called back because the damage to the self-esteem of the defensive players is now something they will have to bear for the rest of their lives. Its, its just unfair and hurtful. We wouldn’t allow that in any Ontario school… sob, bursts into tears, group hugs…. Ontario teachers union. sarc off.

  10. Some one quick tell Wally Buono that this is the type of sneak play that works against the Roughies’ defensive line.

  11. Stunning in it’s boldness. I loved it. Watched it 3 times and laughed every time. The looks from the opposing players as he walks through …. priceless.

  12. So what would have happened if a linebacker knocked Mr Out-for-a-stroll into next week?
    ~Texas Canuck
There was plenty of time and opportunity to just grab the ball from the QB as he strolled through the line holding the ball in one hand.
That would have been a disaster on Dricoll’s 40yd line.

  13. I used the same “play” at one of the Calgary Stampede Tent parties this year. I just waited for the crowd of paying partiers and walked right past the bouncer without paying the cover charge while he checked the paying ones!
    BC/DC was awesome!

  14. It’s a pretty common play, actually.
Iran’s running it on the US and the rest of the civilized world right now.

  15. A greasy ham carrying a pigskin in a cheesy play. KFC lovers could call that one a Double Down Your Throat, Sucker!

  16. Loved that comment by “DN”… Got a huge laugh out of the video and an even bigger one from DN’s comment.
