With Gore facing fraud charges, IPCC credibility in the sink, Moe Strong hiding out in China, Carbon banks folding, and Prentice’s carbon taxing talk just a bad memory as he slinks off to a corporate welfare career, I suspect CO2 taxing and AGW hysteria is dead in Canada. Not even hapless Iggy is dumb enough to resurrect the debunked IPCC albatross.
    Only the UN and Dalton McSquidly still tries to shake down constituencies with this abundantly exposed fraud.

    As a 10% owner of CCX, (via Als company Generation Investment Management), Al is trying to figure out how to spend the 60 million he made when CCX was sold to ICE in April of this year.

Actually no government, but the Wild Rose Party in Alberta, even suggests that it is a big lie they fell for or and continue to spend our tax dollars on this scam. I still challenge any party in Canada to say Global Warning/Climate Change is dead. NEVER WILL HAPPEN, as long as the environMENTALists’ control the agenda.

    The only question in my mind now, is if you are a true believer; or, if you are simply a socialist willing to ride whatever pony takes you and your comrades to the big show? I’ve got my guess.
    Anyways, good job on being last to the story that interests people the most. You and your CBC team have perfected ignoring the news for the pursuit of the low hanging fruit; and you can’t even get that right. Trust me, you guys got nothing on TMZ.

  15. I think the next play is by the EPA on behalf of TOTUS(but he won’t say that). I’d be interested to hear how people at SDA think this will play-out. It’s my understanding that it’s likely that environmental groups will start suing the government for not meeting EPA standards. TOTUS will likely use this stick to push legislation, no? Like Princess Leia said “it’s not over yet”.

  22. Kate, did you miss the news of Solyndra shutting down their Fab 1 plant just two months after opening Fab2?
    Obama visited the plant earlier this year an Ma’am Boxer used her February visit in her campaign ads.
    Solyndra received more than $500 million in DOE loan guarantees to keep it operational. The company just laid off workers and cancelled contractors.
    The reason they gave? Price competition from the Chinese.

  42. So the MeltedWaxMan-Malarkey Bill that opened the way to this aborted permanent scam worth trillions of dollars was a wasted effort and yields bumpkus. There must be a large number of somewhat less wealthy political people kicking around now wondering if being invited into the scam on the ground floor was itself a scam.
