  1. Vote early, before it gets taken down.
Don’t vote ‘often’, because as Kate’s said, cheating is for lefties!
I’m sure if (when) it starts to go wrong, you’ll see a sudden spike in the ‘positive’ results. Mark. My. Words.
Why does the CBC find it necessary to drag Turdeau’s corpse out? I wonder if junior has aspirations of following in his commie father’s footsteps. You know, name recognition and all that? The CBC might simply be providing consulting services. Hey, it’s cheaper than hiring Ekos, Ipsos or Leger.

  2. Actually, it’s going horribly, horribly right! 😉
(I just voted…203 respondants so far. I’m guessing at least 2/3 marched right over there from here…heh.)

  3. From the comment section it would appear no Liberal partisan has relatives in the medical biz or ever needed to visit a doctor.
Eyes wide shut, as they say.

  4. Slip Slidin’ Away:
    Positive 18.39% (73 votes)
    Negative 75.57% (300 votes)
Somewhere in the middle 5.79% (23 votes)
    I’m not sure 0.25% (1 votes)
    Total Votes: 397

  5. 75.3% negative which means that 24.7% have their heads up something. The man and his beliefs were/are an unmitigated disaster.

  6. You just have to read the comments, Kathryn (of course Trudeau’s name is spelled incorrectly….twice, in two different ways….but at least the requisite Harper shot was made…..):
“What one thinks about Pierre Treudeau’s record as Prime Minister depends upon their feelings about individual liberty and social justice.
Pierre Treaudeau shaped our society in so many positive ways. He promoted federalism, equality and multiculturalism. He was a respecter of the individual and the rule of law. He was a thinker and a philosopher. He encouraged the quest for knowledge and individual creativity.
Basically, he was the total antithesis of our present prime minister, Stephen Harper who goes against all of the above.”

  7. “I hate to break it to Alberta, but Albertan’s don’t own the oil in the oil sands any more than any other Canadian. Resources do not belong to provinces, but rather they are owned by Canadians.”
    ~Stones123
I have to inform Stones 123 that the Confederation Act of 1867 section 109 states that the resources belong to the Provinces.
If people of this ilk want to suspend or ignore the Confederation Act of 1867 they should understand that this was the Act that created Canada as a Confederation of Equal Provinces and without it there is no Canada.

  8. It must be “Glue Sniffer” liberal comment day at the Star by the looks of the majority of those comments…
and just looking at that eery and snarky photo of PET brings back horrible memories…memories of the government that never ended….

  9. I’m having chest pains just looking at the pic of the pathetic, rot in HELL, bastard Pierre.
PET divided this great country into east/west and the latest bunch of Librano slim are splitting it again into urban/rural.

  10. Trudeau loathed the West; we’re free thinkers.
He LOVED Castro, Mao and other communists, yet he was an elitist through and through. He’d get along great with Barack Obama.

  11. Karthanon, you or anybody else can feel free to cut and paste that.
    It’s true too.
I don’t comment on the CBC site*, I don’t even watch TV and haven’t for a decade.
*lots of reasons why, please don’t ask

  12. And thanks for the metric system Fnnn trudeaus cant stand them never have never will.
It was once elated in an article that trudeau pushed the metric system because his family was highly involved in fuel in quebec & east. So introduce litres, Gas goes up but your not as mad because its only per litre, not per gallon so you dont realize the full ramnifications & the trudeau family makes millions upon millions

  13. Ten years after the death of Pierre Elliot Trudeau I have but one regret… The SOB was only able to die once!!!

  14. The poll is going our way just fine. Just thinking about him gives me the creeps. No doubt he would be upset with Raul Castro introducing capitalistic reforms. BTW, will Raul eventually face a court like Pinochet did? Don’t hold your breath. Raul makes Pinochet look like a Sunday School teacher.

  15. “…he’s responsible in large measure for the charter, official bilingualism and official multiculturalism,” wrote Bruce Cheadle in the Globe and Mail. “Mr. Trudeau legalized contraception, abortion, homosexual acts between consenting adults and lotteries … The Canada Health Act was enacted, restricting provinces from experimenting with health care.”
And the question is whether he had a positive or negative impact on Canada. Only a leftard can look at his resume and ask such a question.

  16. Oz @ 2:07
One of the things that amazes me reading US political blogs is the number of people who have not only read the US Constitution but understand it as well. After the amazement comes the sadness that so few Canadians have read our Constitutional docs. If more of us had, we might not be in quite the mess we find ourselves.
“Resources do not belong to the provinces” – that is so pathetic, so ignorant, so Canadian.

  17. Hope they drove a spike through his heart to make sure he was dead.
Next tap dance on a grave will be Dalton’s.

  18. Reading SDA Truedope comments on my lunch break as Phil Collins’ “In The Air Tonight” plays on the radio. I’ll never listen to that song again without thinking about that not-dead-enough sob.

  19. CBC has gone over. They don’t even pretend anymore. I asked if they noticed their replies went down when the civil servants went home.

[…..Is it really true that Turdeaus’s headstone is a urinal?….]
Dunno…but there is security 24/7 because the neighbours complained of the urine smell….pilgrims of a sort…..

  21. I had an aunt who was openly gay (and loved to discuss politics) once tell me that the biggest secret in Canadian politics was that Trudeau liked boys.
Having never heard this I asked her how she knew. she said it was common knowledge in the gay community and that “you know your own”.

  22. grok:
    re “worthy of assassination”
It was Irving Layton, if I remember correctly. I believe Layton, seeing the country through a Montreal prism, meant it as a backhanded compliment, rather than a pure insult.
This would be a far better country if Trudeau had never existed. Which I suppose could be taken to mean “effective but evil”.

  23. I think I have been looking forward to voting in a poll like this all my life. Currently at 77.43% baaaaaaaaaad.

  24. A photo caption with an earlier version of this story said Pierre Trudeau died Sept. 28, 2010. In fact, the former prime minister died on that day in 2000 ================== this is there disclaimer 1 billion + per year .doesn’t anyone at crescent broadcasting corp.read the crap before they post it?

  26. It appears there’s FINALLY an awakening in the land, people are starting to clue in. There’s even evidence of it in Toronto right now, the Leftards are losing big time.
The Liberals are still stuck in their dream world, think they have a winner with Trudeau’s spawn,Justin which shows how freaking out of touch they are witht he people of this country. They still arrogantly believe they have the Divine right to rule this country.

  27. Negative 76.97% (1,006 votes)
Only a person from Toronto could even think he did anything but self destruct this Nation for Marx.
Trudeau never meet a communist or fascist he didn’t bow to. Like Obama he worshiped power for powers sake. Both share a distaste for jooo’s. Read Trudeau’s early speeches in Parliment if you doubt it.

  28. I remember 28/9/2000 well as I was in Canmore when I heard the joyous news. Was going to celebrate with champagne but it was a Sunday and I made the erroneous assumption that liquor stores would be closed (didn’t realize that they were open on Sundays in Alberta back then). Did have some tequila with me so I had a few shots to celebrate what I hoped was the end of this statist perversion of Canadian politics.

  29. Trudeau led the “screw the west we’ll take the rest” bunch. Add the National Energy Policy that almost broke Alberta. Hope to never see another Trudeau again.
