  1. “Yesterday, the Obama Administration condemned Israel and sided with the Gaza Flotilla. Now there is word that 40 of the arrested flotilla “peace activists” are al-Qaeda.”
    http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/2010/06/breaking-40-of-peace-activists-on-gaza-flotilla-are-al-qaeda/
Will any of the NATO countries call this for what it it? How long before NATO closes the door to Turkey? Fortunately the EU will collapse in its debt before Turkey is ever allowed in.
If a humanitarian ship were to set sail with aid for the Kurds, would the Turks give fair warning of being boarded or would they simply shoot first?

  2. I also liked this bit:
“Shopping in Gaza is a pleasant experience for all types of shoppers. There are many shops in the city to cater to the varied needs of the people having different taste and likings.”

  3. The Israelis got sucked into a massive PR coup by a very well planned bait-and-trap ploy.
Somewhere the ‘Brotherhood’ is beaming with pride.

  4. It is time Israel is brought to account for it’s actions. For far too long the international community has accepted Israeli actions at face value and that the blockade was to prevent arms from entering Gaza. What b.s. It is convenient for Israel to use Ha mas as an excuse to justify its actions. International condemnation of Israel is warranted and justified. Palestine and Palestinians have the right to exist and aid should not be prevented from reaching Gaza. Israel’s actions are nothing short of terrorism and should be treated as such.

  5. I think it’s time to start exercising Right Of Return: for the Irish of Ulster, for the Jews and Gypsies of Europe, for the First Nations of the entire United States of America, particularly Manhattan. Who’s with me?
BTW, and this should give you some idea of how much this means to me – the reaction in Ireland over this has inspired me to destroy my Irish flag, and I have vowed never again to mention my Irish ancestry as long as I live. Hell, they declared neutrality during WWII, I should have done it ages ago. F*ck ’em.

  6. Hey there T. I think your tinfoils on a bit tight.
It seems myself and a few other’s think alike on this. The first time I heard this, I thought to myself, a torpedo is relatively cheap and pretty accurate as well.

  7. I think the following is what T meant to say:
“It is time Hamas is brought to account for it’s actions. For far too long the international community has accepted Hamas actions at face value and that their actions are simply that of any other legitimate government. What b.s. It is convenient for Hamas to use Israel as an excuse to justify its actions. International condemnation of Hamas is warranted and justified. Israel and Israelis have the right to exist and rockets and existential threats should not be aimed at them. Hamas’s actions are nothing short of terrorism and should be treated as such.”

  8. T-for-troll, I think it is long overdue that traitorous barbarous useful idiot anti-West sock puppets were brought to account for waging a 40-year propaganda campaign against civilization. Let’s start with you. Know what the penality for treason is?

  9. I don’t see too many western countries patting Israel on the back in support of their actions. What is barbarous is Israel’s actions. Any foreign aid going to Israel should be stopped immediately.

  10. The religion of peace in action again. Watcher is right. The nice part is that Obamugabe got sucked into supporting al-Qaeda.
It is time for another Kemal Ataturk in Turkey.

  11. t doesn’t know how to work the you-tube button, so he/she/it hasn’t seen the video.
There’s a strong possibility that the next flotilla, loading soon in Turkey, will have a Turkish naval escort.
Me, I say let them in. Let them ALL in. Whoever wants to go to Gaza with whatever they want to brine along, go to it. It’ll be great. Hell, Israel should build a dock to help with the fun. Give ’em what they want, by the ship full.
And when the first rocket launches out of Gaza, the IDF should flatten the f-ers for good and all. It’ll be really convenient, because then the Jooooos! won’t have to go hunting them all over the place.
    You ok with that t?

  12. We could pass the hat and get enough money for T to go on vacation in Gaza. He could enjoy the restaurants, shopping, excursions, nightlife and of course swimming.
Even better he could hang with his Hamas terrorist brothers and maybe for a suitable donation, they’d let him fire a few rockets in Israeli civilians.
I am sure T would be overjoyed if he could actually blow up a few jews instead of just mouthing off like a typical two brain cell progressive.
You would have to take your tin foil hat off to get through security though.
You up for it T ? Ya, thought so.
Probably too busy pleasuring yourself at the joyous thought of murdering some jews with a few Hamas rockets.

  13. Those Eurabian nations condemning Israel as usual will, within a few decades, be living in a similar siege environment as Israel, with Islamic containment ghettos throughout and in a constant state of civil war. Either that, or something much nastier and more fascist will have taken hold. History will look upon the Israelis as politically correct to the point of near suicidal.

  14. Farooq Burney was the Assistant Executive Director of the Global Relief Foundation (GRF), which the U.S. government shut down in December 2001 because of the organization’s ties to terrorism. Burney also served as GRF’s media manager and spokesman.
This is one of Canada’s victims of ‘piracy’. That and the bathroom was sub-optimal.

  15. My mail to the White House, sent a few minutes ago:
I am disgusted beyond my ability to describe at the official reaction to the recent “humanitarian” flotilla incident. Again, the USA demonstrates a desire to placate the enemies of the West and Israel with this cowardly condemnation. As a Canadian columnist put it, what would the US reaction be if Alberta started firing rockets into Montana?
The way Israel is singled out of all the world’s nations whenever it tries to defend itself against terror is beyond hypocrisy; it is naked and self-congratulatory anti-Semitism, driven by a powerful and relentless global propaganda machine. Elected leaders ought to be expected to have the intelligence and courage to perceive and ignore this propaganda – but they have failed utterly and in doing so failed the cause of civilization.

  16. Where’s a Somalia pirate when you need one. Or a North Korean torpedo for that matter.

  17. Not in the news!!!
A US nuclear sub passed through the Strait of Hormuz into the Persian Gulf, while this “Never let a serious crisis go to waste-Rahm Emanuel”was happening. There are some nervous people in the middle east as there are now more heavy arms within striking distance of Israel and Iran is loaded with missiles supplied by the Soviets.
As to the “aide” that is so badly needed in the gulf.
There are over 1000 trucks PER DAY going into the strip, and they have over 100 tunnels in full operation connecting to Egypt. There are American goods and supplies which are not even available in Israel which are now in Gaza.
Stop believing the media, they misdirect all the facts to prop up the agenda!!
    Got that T!!!

  18. marc in calgary – where do you get that the US condemned Israel and sided with the flotilla?
From listening to Hillary Clinton, I’d say that she’s doing The Obama Stance, which is to side with everyone and run, run away from hard decisions and actions. Obama’s probably playing golf today.
As many readers here know, I strongly criticize Israel for its actions in the W. Bank re the settlements (which I oppose) and its rejection of a Palestinian state. At the same time, I acknowledge that Israel exists …I don’t buy into any theme of a ‘right-to-exist’ for any nation because nations are political not essentialist entities.
Since Israel exists and since the Palestinians also exist, then, my suggestion has been that federation..a two-headed state with shared economic, border, communication infrastrucutre and separate authority over education, health, social welfare, religion. I think such a federation would be a robust economy and a strong rejection of Islamic fascist insistence on a return to 7th c authoritarianism.
BUT, since this situation does not [yet] exist, then Israel has to protect itself from Islamic fascism..which has taken over the Palestinian cause and turned it into a degenerate base for a very different agenda – religious fascism. That’s Hamas – which is run by Iran..and Iran has an imperialist agenda for the whole Middle East while Islamic fascism has its own power agenda.
That is, there are complex levels in this situation. There’s Israel and Palestine; then there’s Islamic fascism; and then, there’s tribalism..and then, there’s Iran.
The flotilla was obviously not interested in providing ‘humanitarian aid’ but in breaching the Israeli sea blockade on Gaza. It is within Israel’s legal rights to have such a blockade, and certainly, this sea blockade does not stop goods and services from entering Gaza by land.
Indeed, as is well known, Israel offered to assist the flotilla to dock at an Israeli port, where the goods would be inspected and taken overland by land. The flotilla refused thereby openly showing their lack of interest in delivering aid.
Now the goods have been unloaded, but..Hamas is refusing to allow them entrance to Gaza!
    http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/meast/06/02/israel.palestinians.aid/
CNN is reporting that the goods have arrived by land to Gaza and
“Jerusalem (CNN) — Israel has attempted to deliver humanitarian aid from an international flotilla to Gaza, but Hamas — which controls the territory — has refused to accept the cargo, the Israel Defense Forces said Wednesday.
Palestinian sources confirmed that trucks that arrived from Israel at the Rafah terminal at the Israel-Gaza border were barred from delivering the aid.
Ra’ed Fatooh, in charge of the crossings, and Jamal Khudari, head of a committee against the Gaza blockade, said Israel must release all flotilla detainees and that it will be accepted in the territory only by the Free Gaza Movement people who organized the flotilla.”
So much for ‘caring about the starving people of Gaza’.
It’s not about caring about them; it’s an attack on Israel’s protection of its people from rocket attacks of Hamas…and Iran.

  19. So Hamas, always with the best intentions of the people of Gaza, has decided to make them suffer even more.
” (CNN) — Israel has attempted to deliver humanitarian aid from an international flotilla to Gaza, but Hamas — which controls the territory — has refused to accept the cargo, the Israel Defense Forces said Wednesday.

  20. ET, it’s at the link I provided, in the video at the 12 – 20 seconds mark.
“The United States supports the Security Council’s condemnation of the acts leading to this tragedy, and we urge Israel …”

  21. marc – yes, I heard/saw that but felt it was the ambiguous ‘please everyone’ approach of the Obama administration.
After all, what ‘acts’ was she referring to? The actions of the organizers of the convoy? Their actions in refusing the Israeli offer to go to the Israeli port, unload and ship the goods by land? Their actions in refusing to obey the legal blockade? In refusing Israel the right to board and inspect the cargo? Their actions in attacking the soldiers?
The acts of boarding the ship? Or? Get my point?

  22. Someone asked T if he wanted a blow job and he became very angry.Asked what was said to him that made him so angry he responded,”something about a job”.

  23. T stands for troll. Don’t feed him.
Israel can’t do anything without censure and criticism. They might as well ignore everyone and do their thing.

  24. Yes ET, it’s ambiguous as you’ve said, we can’t have the thin skinned ones offending anyone, and they’ve left some wiggle room in order to change with the world’s opinion if necessary.
the “acts” could apply to a variety of things… I do know many of the Security Council member states were critical of Israel in this regard before the actual resolution was passed, although, I’m damned if I can find the actual resolution now.

  25. Putin/Russia should offer their services as a security agency to Israel.
The flotilla would have been sunk before sunrise.
And I would be doing a happy dance.

  26. ““one of two happy endings: either martyrdom or reaching Gaza.” ”
    So everyone wins right?
Those people crapping on Israel had their minds made-up before the incident happened; world leaders included.
Israel must, and will continue to do what THEY decide is in their own best interest(take that Barak). Unlike for Progressives in the west, Political Correctness has life and death consequences for Israelis. It’s not about pension plans for MPs in Israel!

  27. I wonder when Zippy is going to issue an apology to citizens of the former Confederate States of America for the four year blockade of their coast during the Civil War. It’s long overdue. /s

  28. Its about time Israel did whats in its interests. Enough playing footsies with fair weather friends.
What right again gives Obama the power to tell Israel a sovereign Nation what it can or cannot do to secure its borders. Obama may not give a crap about American borders, so why Israels? We all know the answer to that don’t we?
I stand with Israel & for the ONE State solution. Israel period.
    JMO

  29. In one of the linked videos a burqa bunny said the “peace activists” would soon achieve one of two happy goals; they would become martyrs or they would break the blockade. Such a declaration is clearly not that of a peace activist. Such a declaration is that of a provocateur. Under such threats from people intent on the destruction of Israel, Israel can practice making martyrs or end up being martyrs. We know Israel will do what needs to be done notwithstanding what the useful idiots in even the highest of places will do to suck up the islamists who laugh at western weakness and are urged on by displays of diplomatic stupidity. My nomination for the Darwin award for 2010 is Europe.

  30. Glenn Beck is all over this today and he provides a brief history lesson to provide a basis for conclusions. Glenn showed Gaza strip on the map and he asked why this ‘flotilla of hate’ did not just agree to dock in Israel or Egypt (both countries invited them) to let the authorities check their goods before transporting them to the outstretched arms of the hungry destitute souls (if they where not out shopping!), of the Gaza strip? Why not?? Any sane person would draw the obvious conclusion – those people on that boat were not peace-nicks with bread and milk for the people they were terrorist thugs with contraband for HAMAS. Not Rocket Science.
Glenn Beck also noted that terrorist, Billy boy Ayers his shack-up (gal pal) are big backers of the ‘Free Gaza’ outfit. Billy boy is a coward, a hater of people and a terrorist- ‘birds of a feather stick together’.
The video of the Israeli soldiers being beaten by those less than human thugs on that boat make me feel sick to my stomach.
Like you Revnant Dream, I stand with Israel.

  31. Israel has more than enough video to prove they did nothing wrong, even the retarded activists’ videos confirm they were the violent Jihadis hell bent on martyrdom. Personally I think Israel should tell the Global leftarded leaders to FO and take a running leap of a short pier, MSM isn’t going to give Israel a fair shake they’ll be frothing out of their mouths in outrage that a ship carrying rabid terrorists and their useful leftwing idiots weren’t treated like to a tinker tape parade.
The Muslim brotherhood arranged this contrived event to rally the anti-semites world wide and from the responses at CBC and else where the rabid hateful anti-semite leftards are doing their best to make their Islamists’ brothers proud. Every twelve months or so Muslim Terrorists’ Organization contrives an event to rally the global left in outrage, funny where was the leftards outrage when the Islamists burnt a summer camp to the ground in Palestine? Yea it’s about the people, no it’s not it’s about spreading anti-semitic hate under the guise of those retards carrying about the Palestinian people.
