Just watched this vid. I don’t normally like rap, mainly because I can’t understand the words. This one I can understand the words and the message and I thought it worth sharing. Now on to watch Vit’s choice.

[That god among men and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Al Gore, told us in “An Inconvenient Truth”, his Oscar-winning documentary, that we had to brace for increasing numbers of hurricanes as the result of global warming.
So, where are the hurricanes of 2009, Mr. Gore?]WUWT
An interlude a la France. Au revoir, douce France!.
[ In March, William J. Broad, reporting in The New York Times, noted that Gore’s “scientific audience is uneasy” in the wake of his global warming documentary. “These scientists argue that some of Mr. Gore’s central points are exaggerated and erroneous. They are alarmed, some say, at what they call his alarmism.” ]
Whether a fraud, a hoax, a cult, snake oil or a religion – the “best” ones are the ones that are hard to prove wrong (at least initially).
Well, the jig is up – Gore can be proven wrong. And polls are showing most people no longer believe the fraudulent carbon dioxide nightmare scenario. Allow our kids to sleep peacefully again. Let the fraud suits begin.
ron in kelowna – I guess you’re intimating that the Nobel committee gave the prize to a fraud? (guffaw!)
Multiple and random stabbings spree taking place near Broadway and Commercial this evening. Almost every day there are incidents like these in the BC Lower Mainland that Concealed Carry would deal with handily. Daily Swarmings, Home Invasions, Muggings, Rapes, occur as the crime rate falls. But never fear; our stalwart Provincial Cabinet will protect us from wearing bullet proof vests, and using cell phones. And carry pepper spray; Perish the Thought!

“Obama’s War on Fox News Becomes a Quagmire ”
“No blood for sound bites!”
“The war is also personal for the aging media veteran Dan Rather, who had won many media battles but one single failure brought him a dishonorable discharge. As a result he is now suffering from Post-Traumatic-Stress Disorder (PTSD), has become homeless, and lives somewhere under the Manhattan Bridge. “This war has put a lot of wear and tear on liberal commentators,” Rather observes. “Their families are being broken up because they come back home with PTSD, STD, PMS, with drug and alcohol addictions, and afflicted by severe violent and suicidal tendencies.”
It is hardly a consolation that Rather is soon expected to be joined under the bridge by Rachel Maddow, Maureen Dowd, and Katie Couric, whose activist group “Boobs not Bombs” failed to distract Americans from watching Fox News by publicly flashing their breasts. The trio has been reportedly suffering from a host of psychological disorders ever since the polls revealed most Americans still preferred the sight of Bill O’Rilley’s receding hairline.”

I think I may order Wafa Sultan’s latest book – “A God Who Hates” – she’s awesome.
This vid made the rounds a while ago – worth seeing if you are asking yourself who she is:

OK, may be violating Reader’s Tips here, but should have added to my above posting a great quote from Wafa Sultan – “Brother, you can believe in stones if you want, as long as you don’t throw them at me”.
Globe, Saturday.
Ottawa won’t cooperate with B. C. in setting up a site where crack addicts can legally indulge their favourite pastime.
I agree with the feds. We keep hearing how tight things are for many people these days. Hard-pressed Canadian taxpayers don’t want their precious tax dollars spent on facilitating drug addicts, it’s that simple. Screw the crackheads. By all means end the war on drugs so they don’t have to rob banks to support their habits. But don’t encourage them. If they get sick from their irresponsibility, that’s their problem, not Canadian taxpayers’.
National Post, Saturday.
Gaye McDougall, the UN’s Independent Expert on Minority Issues, wrapped up her 10-day visit to Canada, during which she met with federal and provincial governments, and minority communities in B. C., Ontario and Quebec. Her report is to be presented to the UN Human Rights Council in March.
Oh sure, you can learn everything there is to know about Canada and its minorities in 10 days, right? I wonder if she met with anybody who didn’t have an axe to grind.
Her initial findings say the country is open to minorities, but government policies often fall short in “efforts to ensure minorities have equal access to housing, education, justice and political participation”, as the NP puts it.
No one is ever going to have precisely equal access to those things, although in the case of justice we should be trying to get as close as possible. But we don’t have equality in our cars, food, clothing or recreation, so why should housing and education be any different?
And I hope that the listing of “political participation” doesn’t mean she would back those crackpots who think equality for women includes 50% representation in the House of Commons.
Meanwhile, the director of something called the Centre for Social, Spatial and Economic Justice at UBC defends her choice to visit Canada and points out that immigrants’ credentials are frequently not recognized by Canadian authorities.
I’ll bite: what is “spatial justice”?
I’ll also admit he has a point here, although I’m not convinced it only applies to visible minorities.
And I would like to point out that economic justice means capitalism, because it’s based on voluntary trade for mutual benetfit. And that social justice is still a fraud.
Oh, one other thing. McDougall also wants Canada to stop using the term “visible minorities”.
Do the thumb-twiddling professional malcontents in charge of such matters have next month’s euphemism ready yet?
“It is hardly a consolation that Rather is soon expected to be joined under the bridge by Rachel Maddow, Maureen Dowd, and Katie Couric”
Poor Katie Couric never understood that when the “ON AIR” light goes out… The cameras & mic’s are still on… She will soon join Letterman in the saga of Katie & Gum**

It was just six months ago that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that two children in California had developed a respiratory illness never before seen in humans, referring to the infection as “swine flu” in its Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.
That was on April 21. By May 1, the government of Egypt had slaughtered all of the country’s 300,000 pigs, despite the fact not a single case of the virus had struck the nation.”

The NP article states that the ship that brought 76 Tamils to Canada is owned by the Tigers and the men on it are LTTE that are leaving Sri Lanka to continue the fight from here. This is just the first wave of huge numbers of Tigers that are planning to come here. Immigration has already started releasing these “refugees” into Canada.
We are insane as a nation that allows this travesty of our stupid refugee laws to continue!

“…..that hikes the price of everything”
Umm, is that like a green shift Mr. Harper?
Get ready for a tax tsunami
A Harmonized Sales Tax on everything, then a cap-and-trade market that hikes the price of everything
By LORRIE GOLDSTEIN, ASSOCIATE EDITOR
Last Updated: 25th October 2009, 4:59am
Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty and Prime Minister Stephen Harper are working hand-in-glove to gut the province’s already hard hit, job-bleeding economy.
How? By simultaneously pursuing two policies that will have devastating consequences for Ontarians, continually raising both the price of goods and services and the taxes we pay on them.
Taken together, they will prolong and deepen the recession.
The first policy is McGuinty’s decision to move to a 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) on July 1, 2010, prompted by Harper giving him $4.3 billion of taxpayers’ money to do it.
Harmonization means consumers will have to pay the 8% Ontario sales tax for the first time on a whole new range of goods and services to which only the 5% federal GST now applies.
Because this will take a huge bite out of our wallets, McGuinty is promising direct payments, tax breaks and cost savings to individuals, families and businesses that he claims will offset the blow.
But even if you believe that, the premier’s assurance is meaningless.
That’s because it fails to take into account another policy McGuinty and Harper both support.
That is, creating a North American cap-and-trade market in carbon dioxide emissions, ostensibly to lower greenhouse gas emissions linked to global warming…….”

“Basketball game sparks complaints of a man’s world at White House
The suspicion flared in recent weeks – and not for the first time – after President Obama was criticized by women’s advocates and liberal bloggers for hosting a high-level basketball game with no female players.
The president, after all, is an unabashed First Guy’s Guy. Since being elected, he has demonstrated an encyclopedic knowledge of college hoops on ESPN, indulged a craving for weekend golf, expressed a preference for adopting a “big rambunctious dog’’ over a “girlie dog,’’ and hoisted beer in a peace-making effort.
He presides over a White House rife with fist-bumping young men who call one another “dude“ testosterone-brimming personalities like Rahm Emanuel, the often-profane chief of staff; Lawrence Summers, the brash economic adviser; and Robert Gibbs, the press secretary, who habitually speaks in sports metaphors.
The debate about the all-male game has become a nagging concern for a White House that has battled an impression dating to the campaign that Obama’s closest advisers form a boys’ club and that he is too frequently in the company of only men – not just when playing sports, but when making big decisions.
While senior adviser Valerie Jarrett is undeniably one of the president’s closest White House confidants, some women inside or close to the administration complain that Obama’s female advisers are not as visible as their male colleagues or, they suspect, as influential.”

“*Barack Obama – Narcissist or Merely Narcissistic?
“*The “small people”, the “rank and file”, the “loyal soldiers” of the narcissist – his flock, his nation, his employees – they pay the price. The disillusionment and disenchantment are agonizing. The process of reconstruction, of rising from the ashes, of overcoming the trauma of having been deceived, exploited and manipulated – is drawn-out. It is difficult to trust again, to have faith, to love, to be led, to collaborate. Feelings of shame and guilt engulf the erstwhile followers of the narcissist. This is his sole legacy: a massive post-traumatic stress disorder.”

“Labour wanted mass immigration to make UK more multicultural, says former adviser
Labour threw open Britain’s borders to mass immigration to help socially engineer a “truly multicultural” country, a former Government adviser has revealed.
The huge increases in migrants over the last decade were partly due to a politically motivated attempt by ministers to radically change the country and “rub the Right’s nose in diversity”, according to Andrew Neather, a former adviser to Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett.
He said Labour’s relaxation of controls was a deliberate plan to “open up the UK to mass migration” but that ministers were nervous and reluctant to discuss such a move publicly for fear it would alienate its “core working class vote”.”

Re “”rub[bing] the Right’s nose in diversity” posted by maz2: I’m pretty clear that that’s exactly what the agenda’s been in Canada too. This agenda has created a huge underclass, which is virtually bankrupting the middle class, so that the ruling lib-left elites — at least, that was PET’s and others’ plan — can have the giant share of the cake pretty much to themselves.

Hey, Mad Mike, how does UncleJimbo get the Pres to watch it?
Cbc has their new politics show on today,” Politics and Power with Evan Solomon”. They have one of today’s protesters from the HofC who alleges that he was roughed up by security. 3 hours later and he still has blood on his face,oh my God,the brutality. Actually, not very much blood at all, more like a very minor nosebleed, but this is the cbc with a leftard guest,so he doesn’t have to clean up (how dramatic) and tells how he was smashed into the floor repeatedly in a violent takedown…Earlier,Evan asked the Health Minister about ‘wait times’ at the flushot clinics, obviously too many people did not swallow the hype and hysteria generated by the media and our turning out for the shots. Cbc has put lipstick on the pig,it won’t work.
