  4. I wish Dr. Savage well in his litigation against British tyranny. I see he has also taken up the cause of renewing freedom of speech and faith as a personal crusade.
Being almost in Dr. Savage’s age group, I have empathy with his passion to correct the current trend of politically motivated censorship we see infecting free western culture. We both grew up in a world where the enemies of freedom and our free society were clearly defined. We always expect our liberty to be attacked but we always thought the attack would be a frontal one from a clearly defined enemy.
In this post-industrial era the enemies of our civil freedoms reside in all the estates of realm including the 4th estate. Little did we dream as young men just acquiring our political consciousness, that as middle aged citizens the element attacking our civil freedoms would turn out to be, not the usual suspects on the radical fringes but our own politicians and their establishment patrons.
Savage’s “the enemy within” is must reading for any unindoctrinated, reasoning young person wanting to make sense of the ideological war now raging for the heart and soul of free western culture.

  5. I see Pamela Geller is on the list of speakers. But why not Charles Johnson? Oh, I forgot, it would require a surgical procedure to remove his face from Obama’s asscrack.

He is still in the local rubber room dealing with the shock that Beck was right about something.
That and recovering from the carpal tunnel surgery he underwent after another banning frenzy 🙂

  7. Comrade glasnost:
You, like anybody else, has the right to spend your own money any way you wish.
If somebody would really like to attend the conference, they will find a way. It’s all a matter of personal priority.

  8. I see what appears tobe a lot of Jewish names here. They should be very careful of what they want.
In a book recently released and written by Giles MacDonogh called 1938 Hitler’s Gamble, re: the Anschluss. An excerpt: “Another conservative force the Nazis crushed in ’38 was the Austrian Church. Religious intruction was removed from the school curriculum, the monasteries were looted and following Cardinal innitzer’s pointed “Christ is our Fuhrer” sermon, the Archbishops palapce was trashed. Hundreds of priests were sent to Dachau. christmas ceased to be a holiday and carol singing was banned. The Riech was not in the business of celebrating the birth of a Jew.”
Presently in B.C. Gordon Campbells government has warned religious schools that they must present same-sex mariage as legitimate alternative, and there were no charges laid when a band of Natives and their left-wing supporters interfered in a sacred ceremony at the local cathedral, this despite the presence of police.
The traditional singing of carols in the rotunda of the parliament buildings is now banned.
Some years back, as Mayor of Vancouver, Mr. Campbell changed zoning bylaws allowing for an abortion clinic to perform its lucrative and bloody rites in a quiet and leafy neighbourhood just off an urban byway.
