  1. I must admit, these woke people are exhausting. They all make me want to walk/run to the other side of the street. But I wasn’t raised that way … and people weren’t always that way. For all the boasting that love is love … community … safe spaces and whatnot … I don’t detect the slightest glimmer of LOVE in any of these people. It’s all anger, segregation and isolation

    They should all be made to listen to the music of my generation. Esp. this incomparable tune by Arthur Lee and the SoCAL band ‘Love’. Yeah, in my mind THIS is LOVE is LOVE. It’s beauty and inclusion. its respect and LOVE of ALL people. Not just a summer of LOVE … but a life of LOVE … like Dolly Parton lived. It’s HOPE for people to be … GOOD … even when we end up alone … yearning for human contact.

  2. And as a 10yo boy … this was the music that forever impacted my life … playing on my newfangled transistor radio … that could fit in my shirt pocket. Wow! The era of miniaturization was changing the world and Silicon Valley in 1966. I was living with my ‘fancy’ grandmother who hated the hippies and the hippie music … so she literally made me listen to my music in the garage. So I stood in the cold garage listening to the greatest music ever written and performed. At age 10 I felt I was totally grown-up … an overconfident little snot. Now that I’m 60 years past it … I treasure those times and the music that marked them forever.

    Of course, consigning chickens to battery farm practices is also bad (although we’ll let the Chinese and the Indians do it, for now and for reasons that probably have to do with virology), so the real punchline is: “Future changes in per capita egg consumption”
    That’s right kids, the Royal Society (3 guesses as to which Royals, although I think they’re all still related) wants you to eat a lot less eggs.
    And you wonder why some of us are willing to risk it all to get out of this system? These people are sick.

    “La Financier Agricole provides some unique financial services to Quebec farmers. Caroline Lapointe, manning the booth, said any Quebec farmer under 40 years of age that is acquiring a new operation, or else up to 20 per cent of an existing farm, or family operation, and has a college degree, is eligible for an outright grant of $65,000. She also detailed their investment program where a farmer can invest any amount with them for a minimum one-year period,”and the government matches it,” she said. There is a ceiling of $150,000 per year that will be matched by the government.

    This allows a farmer – getting 100 per cent return on their money – to rapidly grow enough funding that he/she can withdraw when they wish to make a major purchase, such as equipment, building or land, said Lapointe.

    Their organization is also responsible for crop and livestock insurance, under the ASRA Stabilization program, she said. The premiums are minimal-ranging from $50 to $100 per operation per year – with the farmers covered up to normal income if there is a price or yield failure, said Lapointe.”

      1. Personal story. My starter wife had an older brother who was REALLY into The whole Rocky Horror show crap. I mean full dress up and seeing the show every weekend. Real weirdo stuff.

        He later became a middle school teacher and was accused (because he did it) of sexually abusing multiple girls (surprised it wasn’t boys). Before any trial … he drove his car off a cliff on Hwy1… killing himself.

        You don’t want to ask me what I think of The Rocky Horror Show. It’s a Horror Show of human wreckage.

    1. Yet in a related story … The Palo Alto police are silent, and refuse to release bodycam footage of 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan ‘self-driving’ his Tesla into a fellow Palo Alto motorist. Was he asleep? Was he alone in the car? Was he rubbing one out? I guess he PAID enough for silence … gave out some free tickets … who knows.

      Moral of the story … Rich people in leftist CA enclaves can buy off the police to clam up … Rich people in East Palestine OH … needed to offer more than TMZ paid for the bodycam footage.

      Second moral of the story … something is serious amiss with the 49ers leadership.
