  1. I suggest that Turner is actually the one in trouble, both within the caucus – and with Ignatieff and Rae – and with Dion. Not about leadership issues but about his egoistic tendency to constantly hold press conferences, to define all of his statements as truth and as a result of his importance to the Liberal caucus.
His open statement of support for Dion, which is hardly necessary since he’s supposed to do so anyway, could actually be a challenge to Dion.
That is, Turner is saying: ‘I openly support you, so if you have any ideas about demoting me or turfing me out or whatever, you’ll be seen as being run by others such as Ignatieff and Rae.

  2. This is the same bufoon who called PMSH a “whore”. Politics is a bloodsport, but if you can’t respect the man at least respect the office. His march to obscurity cannot come soon enough.

  3. It would be interesting to see how the Libs act internally under a Conservative majority, or even another minority with some other opposition i.e. PQ.
Is that too much to ask?
