Dr. Straus (Kamloops, B.C.) who has developed a medicine called Heart Drops ( a vitamin concoction in a pill) that saves many people from heart attacks would be deserving of official recognition, IMO.
Morgentaler is a national shame, what he does for a living makes me turn my head in shame that such a man is allowed to live in my beautiful country. I think that if a woman or a man does not wish to have children they should get ‘fixed’ (like pet owners arrange for dogs and cats). Maybe a Dr. who develops quick cheap ‘fixes for people’ would be deserving of an Order of Canada. Such a Dr. would be preventing the murder of innocent, small, helpless people and allowing the undisciplined to have sex on a whim without third party (baby) consequences. A creature like Morgentaler should never be recognized in any way, at any time; in any civilized nation.
Remember that they were considering giving Ashley MacIssac an order of Canada until he declared having an underaged boyfriend who he enjoyed “watersports” with , and not with a boat.
