  1. I saw this story when it first surfaced, it’s a beautiful example of the classic mechanisms of leftthink on campus. Without due process the conservative kids were vilified and asked to go to re-education camp while the smarmy criminal lefty students who actually were the perpetrators of a hate crime go unpunished.

    Ernesto, just as watching the less accomplished, local version of pro wrestling will teach you much about the endemic fakery that is much better concealed by the top pros, studying the leftist loon in his larval college form can provide valuable analysis points that will aid in decoding the mendacious trickery of the more adept adult version.

    I fired off an email to GWU college President Knapp asking him what the administration was going to do with the criminal perpetrators, gently insinuating that if they escape punishment perhaps it’s because they are from the “correct” political spectrum, not a word back.
    Here’s his email address: sknapp@gwu.edu, I’m sure hearing from concerned Canadians would make his sheltering rock less comfortable. Face it, cleaning up NA is a joint American/Canadian effort.

  2. Right on Penny, I am sick to death of these posturing, bigoted leftists jumping to conclusions and finding guilt where there is none. Whether it’s Jon Elliot making up crap about right wingers mugging Randi Rhodes (who BTW, was stinking drunk and fell on her smug face) or this useful idiot attacking a conservative student group, I think it’s time to let them know that we are mad as hell and not going to take it any more. Challenge these idiots to make with the proof or apologize and STFU.

  6. Recently had occassion to learn — while arming for a debate with a e-mail correspondent — that Georgetown U is where the infamous Islamist apologist Prof. John Esposito hangs his hat. Evidently the Middle East Studies Department he heads received $20 million from the Saudis. Also that rogue CIA guy Scheuer — who had headed up the bin Laden search group and who was thrilled that bin Laden praised his book — is also teaching there. Scheuer believes, among other things, that the jihad is straight blow-back against American foreign policy. You might be curious as how he knows this for sure: well, because bin Laden said so on his videos. How’s that for top level intelligence? So now he teaches (sic) at a Ivy League University, eh?

  7. I would be interested in finding out what the parents of these kids think. If I was in any position to hire some graduate, I know several universities I would refuse to consider applications from, if they were on a resume.

  8. I’m trying to think of a worse environment for the expression of free speech than on University campuses but I’m having a hard time. Union Hall? no, you’re only allowed to vote one way but they will only shout you down if they disagree, Pub?, nah, the worst that could happen is that you might get into a fight. I know, a military parade square during drills – there’s a comparison with which the professoriate would be thrilled.

  9. Hey wait a minute! … Canada is one of the countries that most affected by American policy.
    We are subject to most of their TV, Radio, Movies and millions of them come here as tourists regularly.
    We are stuck with their language (and French for some reason) while they come up here and plunder our oil sands or develop them or something, force us to build their cars for only about seventy dollars an hour average and force us to buy millions of tons of the food they ship up here every week instead of eating wheat and buffalo as we should.
    They have military bases in our country and their commercial and military planes fly over our airspace daily. They pay us a lot for that, but I am sure that is a trick too.
    Their foreign policies have forced us into prosperity, freedom and more fun and entertainment than we can handle. It must be an elaborate trick.
    No country should have to put up with this kind of American foreign policy.
    It is also quit insidious how they continue to allow us to have our own government, currency, laws and borders. Not only that but they fool us by paying us handsomely for our raw and manufactured materials.
    This has been going on now for over one hundred and fifty years. Any time now the hammer is bound to come down. We have to be ready.
    In fact, I think it’s time to fight back. First we need to flood their entertainment market with a bunch of Canadian banks, businesses and female singers to soften them up, then put a hoser army together go blow them up real good …. right after I finish smoking this joint eh!
    The suffering must end.

    Perhaps the YAF is a good starting point take back our campuses!
    You’d think with all the “Codes of Conduct” supposedly in force that some of these institutions would be enforcing said codes when it comes to the abuses of these snot nosed little crypto commies and their ethno-fascist parters in crime….
