Amusing to see conservatives question someone’s sincerity because they make boatloads of money. Presumably we shouldn’t believe anything Cheney has to say about Oil or War, since he is making such a killing on them through his investments.
This is just all for shits and giggles, right? I mean, most of you don’t take any of this too seriously. Tell me the truth. You just get a kick out of the sounds and grunts that your mouth makes where you hear (or read) the name Gore, right?
Has someone said “he invented the internet yet”? Seeing that coming from people with internet access always gives me a good laugh.
The following will debate so-called man-made-global-warming — ANYDAY;
Patrick Moore
Bjorm lomborg
Steve McIntyre
Tim Ball
The following are hidding (so they should);
Albert Gore
David Suzuki
Stephane Dion
Michael Mann (He choose Albert (last) to carry his broken hockey stick 🙂
Ted Nancy: “Has someone said ‘he invented the internet yet’? Seeing that coming from people with internet access always gives me a good laugh.”
Uhh, why exactly would that make you laugh? If I met someone who claimed they invented cars, I’d mock them whether I owned a Schwinn or a Maserati.
Really, Ted Nancy, you can’t see the hypocrisy of a movement that claims their opponents are all motivated by money and profits, yet makes millions of dollars scaring the sheeple into believing their side?
Come on, Ted Nancy, you’re not that dumb, are you? Either that, or you’re in the pockets of Big Carbon Credits. Which is it, Ted Nancy? Dumb, or dishonest?
I’m sure Al bought some east coast cod fishery offsets to cover the enviro impact of dining on the endangered sea bass….

Ahh… thanks Yukon. You made my night.

YG, what do you think of this, and similar “green” initiatives by other companies (everybody’s got one these days)? Many similar parallels to what you find so distasteful and hypocritical about Gore, no? They’re also surely motivated by money and profits, and while they’ve indeed invested some R&D money into “greening” themselves, they’ve also taken no steps towards slowing down their (pollution- and emissions-heavy) core business operations either. Does this make their message (which is the same as Gore’s message) — that we must change our energy production and consumption patterns for the sake of future generations and of the planet — equally hypocritical?

If they’re saying that to us but not actually doing it themselves, yes it does.
Nice try again, but Al is still on the hook for being two-faced about global warmening.
To paraphrase Andy Warhol:
