Islam in Muhammad’s Own Words
Islam is a caustic blend of regurgitated paganism and twisted Bible stories. Muhammad, its lone prophet, conceived his religion solely to satiate his lust for power, sex, and money. He was a terrorist. And if you think these conclusions are shocking, wait until you see the evidence.
Critics of Prophet of Doom claim it is offensive, hatemongering, and unnecessarily violent. We agree—but we didn’t write those parts. They came directly from Islam’s scriptures. Over the course of these pages, we quote from almost every surah in the Qur’an—many are presented in their entirety. But more than that, we put each verse in the context of Muhammad’s life, quoting vociferously from Islam’s most trusted sources.
Muslims deploy a singular strategy to condemn those who expose Islam. They claim we have taken Allah’s words and Muhammad’s deeds out of context, selecting the nastiest verses from a sea of nice ones to portray Islam in a bad light. The truth is, the overwhelming preponderance of Islamic scriptures are revolting. To dispel the lone Islamic rebuttle, the POD Qur’an displays Allah’s revelation in Qur’anic order so that readers will see just how completely and accurately we have portrayed it.

Hi ‘been around the block:
Typing your handle is…well, it’s an interesting handle.
Thanks for the encouragement and the input on the “emotional tank” and the sense of humour.
You make a very good point about how having to raise and care for children changes you.
About 10 years ago, I knew a woman who used to say, “If a man does not become a father by the time he is 40, there is a certain emotional development stage that he just doesn’t go through.” She would go on to essentially say that men (I don’t know why she targeted men specifically) need children to complete their own maturing process.
Much more recently, my wife (without ever hearing about the “other theory”) stated her belief that women who make it to 40 without having had children tend to “go crazy”…listing off a bunch of spinster aunts and aquaintences.
Now, I don’t really have a strong opinion because this is all anecdotal and totally unscientific…but, I do believe that having kids cannot help but change your outlook and thus, I guess, your own “way of being.”
Robert, your blind hatred is showing, again.
“life long abhorence of aggression, violence, weapons, intimidation, force and threats when constantly used unwarranted against a weaker adversary”

ah heck, here’s another one in the same general area: nguyen van thieu of the former s vietnam, a real iron-fisted lad who beat up opposition, rigged elections and encouraged widespread corruption.
iron-fisted? yep !!

Dozens of Taliban insurgents were killed in fighting that began late Saturday in Panjwaii, about 30 kilometres west of Kandahar, and continued until early Sunday.
Between 60 and 72 Taliban fighters died, NATO said, although the death toll could not be independently confirmed.
It was the first major assault involving Canadian battle group soldiers, mainly from CFB Petawawa in Eastern Ontario, since they arrived in Kandahar during the past couple of weeks.
“It was an extremely big blow (to the Taliban’s) combat effectiveness,” said Lt.-Col. Omer Lavoie, who just three hours before the assault began, had taken over as Canada’s battle group commander in Kandahar.
It was the most significant victory for NATO since it took over control of international forces in southern Afghanistan July 31, killing nearly 10 per cent of the estimated numbers of Taliban insurgents believed to be in the south.
“Ten per cent losses on the enemy insurgent side is a very significant loss of their ability to conduct operations,” Lavoie said.
“It should show the Canadian public the high degree of training that Canadian soldiers have.”
There were no casualties among the Canadians, members of NATO’s International Security Assistance Force, or ISAF.
However, sources said as many as seven Afghan police died in the battles.
Bodies and body parts were found scattered throughout the area following the fighting, which was part of a “deliberate operation,” NATO said in a statement.
“Afghan National Security Forces and ISAF inflicted heavy casualties against Taliban fighters in Kandahar’s Panjwaii district,” the statement said. It was “a deliberate operation to extend security along southern Afghanistan’s Highway 1 corridor.”
Afghan and Canadian forces deliberately moved into position around three known Taliban locations, making their presence known, hoping for a reaction, Lavoie said.
When the Taliban moved on them, the Canadians and Afghan security forces were ready, he said. …-

“Last weekend Diane Francis wrote in the National Post that the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan is now investing solely in stocks that trade in the United States, because Canadian security laws are too lax…….
Of all these trends, I find the move by the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan most intriguing. Is it wise to avoid Canadian markets because of concerns over lax Canadian securities regulations, or is it cutting off its nose to spite its face, missing out on investment opportunities for its members?
Ontario Teachers’ has forsaken Canadian investments because it feels the system of individual provincial and territorial securities regulators, under the umbrella of the Canadian Securities Administrators, allows things like the
Bre-X scandal to go unpunished, and offers little investor protection.” …-

let me spell that, u-n-w-a-r-r-a-n-t-e-d

amerkuns do it a LOT.
canucks dont because lacking the huge volume of weaponry, we save out ordinance and energy for when it IS called for. thus our remarkable high, in fact perfect, record of WINNING every war we have been part of, and of course, because karma dictates that because these wars and thus our involvement is justified, we escape the great negative consequences on our own soil.
not so the amercuns. they go out LOOKING for a fight and will agitate until they cause one. its what bullies do; thus THEIR use of weapons force violence etc is u-n-w-a-r-r-a-n-t-e-d

In a letter to Sunday’s Ottawa Citizen, a Mr. Doneit-Henderson wrote, concerning Harper’s non-appearance at the AIDS gabfest:
“It is mind bending that Stephen Harper as shown another minority group that it is completely irrelevant to him”.
In it’s implied expectation of a visit to this minority group, his letter reveals what has happened to the Canadian body politic over the past 50 years. It has disintegrated into a miriad “minority communities”, each of which are to be pandered to for electoral advantage.
We are no longer the Canadian people, each individuakl having the same rights, but a community of minority groups, to which we must subscribe in order to receive specific advantages.
Perhaps, Mr. Henderson et al, he is right not to genuflect before the community of communities.

“As strange as it might sound to many Canadians, some Quebec parents are prepared to hit the streets in protest to demand the choice of paying more for their children’s day care.
New provincial regulations that take effect Aug. 31 will prevent all subsidized day cares from charging parents more than $7 a day for each child.
Additional charges will only be permitted for specific outings, hygienic products and extra meals.
Parents in private day cares fear the prohibition will force owners to gut their services as they struggle to make ends meet.
…The new regulations will affect about 1,500 day-care centres providing nearly 197,000 spots in public, family and private settings.
The province spends $1.6 billion a year for its day-care system, including daily subsidies ranging between $30 and $50 per child. Parents top that off with a $7 contribution……
The government also wanted to end abuses where some operators had begun to charge for stroller storage, waiting lists, diaper changes, and dressing youngsters….
Some 30 operators that receive no government support won’t be affected by the changes.
But those who receive subsidies fear they will be forced to lay off staff, reduce the quality of meals or cut elsewhere if they can’t charge more than the minimum.
“We don’t want to go on strike,” said Sylvain Levesque, a Montreal day-care owner who is president of the Quebec Association of Private Day Cares.
“We don’t want to take parents as hostages but we will have to reduce services for sure.”
God bless America.

Who cares what he ate or drank or if he went to the bathroom on the plane? Who cares about the D.A.’s case or motives? This is a freak show and an absolute travesty. He is obviously ‘getting off’ on the attention; and the media and prosecution are allowing it. Whether he is proven guilty or not, he should be thrown in a mental institution for seeking the attention.

‘Operation Conection’
“MONTREAL – The Canadian Forces may drop Canadian citizenship as a prerequisite for military service in order to boost the country’s lagging troop strength.
Enlisting landed immigrants is just one idea being looked at by the Forces, Capt. Helene Tremblay said.
”If we want to meet our recruitment targets, it might be necessary,” said Tremblay, a military-career counsellor at Montreal’s Canadian Forces recruiting centre.
A decision is expected in the next few months, she added….
No decision that threatens national security will be taken and any ”radical change” to the recruiting process will require high-level approval, Coxhead said….
….At any given time, 40 per cent of Canada’s 63,000 regular troops and reservists are engaged in operational missions and pre-deployment, she said….”

Canada Will Proceed With Lumber Accord, Wilson Says (Update1)
By Theophilos Argitis
Aug. 21 (Bloomberg) — Canada will push ahead with an accord to end a four-year dispute with the U.S. over softwood lumber, after winning enough support from industry for the plan, the Canadian ambassador to the U.S. said.
“The government is confident that it will receive quite substantial support from the industry to move ahead,” Wilson said in his opening statement during testimony today to the House of Commons international trade committee in Ottawa.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper will introduce a bill in Parliament next month aimed at allowing the agreement to take effect in October, Wilson said. …- via bloomberg

There was another, much larger gathering there too. Full of stern looking men silently listening to their imam. No one hurled insults at him. His “sermon was so angry towards America that I became concerned for my safety because I was wearing a USS carl Vincent cap.

Praying aloud gets man jailed (Calgary Canada)
Calgary Sun ^ | August 21, 2006 | Licia Corbella
Maybe if Artur Pawlowski had been holding a flag of the outlawed terrorist organization Hezbollah, Calgary Police would have left him alone.
Perhaps had they seen him on a street corner smoking crack cocaine — or selling it — they would have turned the other cheek, as is so often the case.
But Pawlowski was clearly doing something much more provocative Wednesday afternoon on the corner of 17 Ave. and 8 St. S.W. He — along with about six other people — were praying and reading the Bible.
Pawlowski, 33, who has been helping the homeless for years, gave up his lucrative home-building business last year to start up The Street Church full-time.
With the support of area churches, he spends most of his time feeding, clothing, housing and loving members of Calgary’s homeless population. He starts by taking his church to them — in front of the Drop-In Centre mostly, but for the past four years, he has often preached to the drug dealers and street kids who congregate in the block-long park in front of Mount Royal Village shopping centre.
Because Pawlowski has been threatened so often by drug dealers angry their clients often turn away from drugs as a result of his message of hope and help, he started videotaping every outing. Wednesday’s was no different. …- http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1687446/posts

Apparently you’re a big fan of systemic genocide, state institutionalized rape, and iron-fisted tyrants, so you can shove your relativist moralizing up your Communist a**.
Tom dont feed the trolls.
tom tom tom. do I gotta go over the greivances list again showing the number of times the AMERICANS have supported your precious iron-fisted tyrants? here’s just one: marcos of the philippines, supported to the hilt by the yanks because they were afraid the successor would close the naval base.
ah heck, here’s another one in the same general area: nguyen van thieu of the former s vietnam, a real iron-fisted lad who beat up opposition, rigged elections and encouraged widespread corruption.
iron-fisted? yep !!
also I truly dont get how a contempt of the use of raw power translates into labelling someone a cummuniiiiist. care to clarify?
Canadian warriors use raw power, overwhelming power, aka killing up to six dozen, up to 72 mohammeds.

Well done, Canadian soldiers! For Queen, freedom, and country–not to mention for loved ones.
Canadians should be proud of you. This Canadian is.
God bless you!
The superior return on investment in the US is an important factor, also. Mutual fund fees are higher in Canada than in the US. Laws are tighter and enforced in the US.
Aunty-American denies these facts. Claude Lamoureux, CEO/President, Teachers’, is no Aunty-American/fool.
This inane/stupid mindset of Canadians contributed much to the growth/flourishing of AdScam Chretien/Martin and the Librano$$$$$$$
Voting with their feet- 15 years and still no national securities regulator with teeth
Ontario Teachers’ has forsaken Canadian investments because it feels the system of individual provincial and territorial securities regulators, under the umbrella of the Canadian Securities Administrators, allows things like the
Bre-X scandal to go unpunished, and offers little investor protection.” …-

note the presence of the word UNWARRANTED
let me spell that, u-n-w-a-r-r-a-n-t-e-d
in means unnecessary, exceeding normal requirements.
amerkuns do it a LOT.
canucks dont because lacking the huge volume of weaponry, we save out ordinance and energy for when it IS called for. thus our remarkable high, in fact perfect, record of WINNING every war we have been part of, and of course, because karma dictates that because these wars and thus our involvement is justified, we escape the great negative consequences on our own soil.
not so the amercuns. they go out LOOKING for a fight and will agitate until they cause one. its what bullies do; thus THEIR use of weapons force violence etc is u-n-w-a-r-r-a-n-t-e-d
got it reader?

Here’s Iggy Ignatieff firing on all cylinders. The liberal left/socialist panacea: Central planning aka communist control.

In a brief overview of his environmental policy, which he will announce in full tomorrow, the former Harvard University professor said the government should impose a cap-and-trade system to control emissions of carbon dioxide among big emitters, such as the natural gas and petroleum industry, big electricity generators, and big forest products companies.

Been around (former new kid), you sound like the kind of person whom I would like to share a coffee or glass of wine at the kitchen table with.

The Attorney General of Kansas is up for re-election. Kline the Republican incumbent is facing Morrison, the Democrat.
Kline led the fight to get the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold the state’s death penalty; Morrison put serial killer John Robinson Sr. on death row. Both say the only good criminal is one behind bars.

I can’t believe the media circus surrounding the drama queen ( I can’t bear to name him) who confessed to killing JonBenet Ramsey. What an insult/injustice to the memory of this little girl.
Who cares what he ate or drank or if he went to the bathroom on the plane? Who cares about the D.A.’s case or motives? This is a freak show and an absolute travesty. He is obviously ‘getting off’ on the attention; and the media and prosecution are allowing it. Whether he is proven guilty or not, he should be thrown in a mental institution for seeking the attention.
mr drama queen needs to be dumped in solitaire for about 5 friggin years if found to have falsely confessed. putting mr Ramsey thru all this yet again.
they had the a&e thing on again tonite. what an abominable mess of police ‘investigation’ that was.

In the late 80’s, freshly out of high school I went to England for the first timeto see some family. One of places I toured was “speakers corner” in London. There was an old christian preacher there that stood on a box and evangelized while people stood around hurling insults at him.

aaaaand what does mr Pawlowski’s experience tell us about KHAPS ????? hmmmm dear right wingist ‘law and order’ man ????
cops are the biggest single threat to the security and freedom of canadians. NOT al quada.
theres a lot more cops roaming about laughing at the dregs of society and oh, using rape victims as ‘bait’ etc than there are planes full of enraged religious zealots.
Robert J..lemme get this straight:
Suicide bombers, beheaders, et al….
No OFICIAL uniform.
No IDENTIFIED recognised heirarchy/command structure which COULD stop or re-deploy re asign covert military assets (terrorists) after (hopefully SANE) negotiations.
Just cells driven uncontrollably to destructive chaos/murder in the name of a perverted “glory”?
I suggest: Exterminate these unweildly vermin. They are not soldiers.
Better yet, the ones that are caught..shoot em in the knees, with the farewell:
“Enjoy your new life as a cripple in THE MIDDLE EAST, of all places.
Pity you you fucks, hahahahahah…
Allah loves you, oh yeah sure!
fine mr east, so SHOW US THE EVIDENCE and then feel free to kneecap them. but SHOW US THE EVIDENCE AND TESTIMONY AND GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY FOR A DEFENSE.
dont just grab the locals off the streets of baghdad at random and pay the scoopers a bounty. it creates the classical conflict of interest.
and what about the story of mr benemar benattar

you rightists have a bizarre concept of due process. I think your words come from a sense of frustration at not having it all go your way right from the start.
due process for whom YOU say is entitled to due process. and then trot out the accusations of sympathizing with terrorists to cover up your pathetic position and belief system.
