I only watched CBC a total of about 30 minutes all told, and didn’t know about the tricks until I saw it mentioned in the posts. But no one else seems to have caught that one. I yelled to someone in the house, but it’s over in a flash as you know.
Did anyone catch the rerun of the hit piece on Harper on CBC National last night?

OT, sorry. A quick question — what is Democracy Watch and who is Duff Conacher? I found their website, and see they are endorsed by the Globe and Mail and CBC, so how impartial are they really? Just wondering . . .

The strategy of the MSM, if I’m correct that it’s actually intentional, is perhaps to subconsciously manipulate the people in a much more blatant way and still get away with it by simply saying it’s a mistake, much like the innumerable Liberal “mistakes” and “management problems” and the doings of “a few people in the civil service”, which we know were more than claimed.
Just watch to see how much more they do it compared to in the past. It seems to me to be a fairly recent thing. I really don’t remember this sort of thing happening ’till recently.

On CBC: nothing much will change before the Board of Directors (all G-in-C apptts for 5 year terms, removable only for cause), President, English Language News chief, and Chief Political Correspondent (Boag) are replaced.
For the time being, the Harper administration should just work with CTV, RDI, TQS, and Global.
It is unlikely that any cuts to the CBC budget will ever get through a minority Parliament. The national broadcaster needs to be reformed, not eliminated or neutered.

It’s subliminal because the majority of people have the radio on as background while busy with finishing up for lunch, or making lunch.
The sub-concious picks up the nervous message though.
Later, in the polling booth, thousands are afraid to vote for Harper. They are not sure why exactly, but there is that nagging * I heard something somewhere* thought. Better play safe and vote for the crooks we know.
