4. Heard is of course absolutely right. The principal reason that the Liberals were the “natural governing party” of the 20th century was that it was the Big Tent Party. It had room for everyone, regardless of what they believed. But the party of Wilfrid Laurier is no more, not for a long time. Now it’s degenerating into a narrowly focused, ideologically dictated band. It’s stooping ever further to the left in desperate hopes of clutching followers from the Dippers.
   It won’t work. Why vote for a faux socialist when you can vote for the genuine article?
   What it does of course is increasingly leave the middle ground to Harper and the Conservatives. The more this happens, the more the Right will be evidently the party of reason

11. I think is kinda cute. Basically Justin is banning people who think for themselves, people who might be smarter than he is, scientists who do actual research. It’s perfect.

14. Hate to disagree,champ, but this is the Country that has elected Liberal and NDP governments in almost all Provinces at one time or another.
    I have great faith in the stupidity of many Canadian voters, and there are a lot of vacant minds out there who can only see hair,teeth,and “he ain’t Harper”.
    Allah almighty,I can’t believe the number of posts I’ve read from Trudeau supporters who say that Harper is the evil politician owned by “big oil” and other big industries. Their boy apparently dropped from heaven to bring “social justice” to all Canadians. When I respond with Desmarais,Bombardier,Asper,Bronfman,they call me a liar and a hater.
    We’re gonna have to roll out the troops in 2015 and work like hell to keep this stupid schoolboy out of the PM’s Office.
