Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

so it’s cooling off.
Huh … mmm … so it’s hot in the desert, then ? Good to know. Did you also know that it gets really Freezing in Minnesota in the winter ?
Nothing a good carbon tax won’t fix! There have been days in the last few years where the temperature in Kelowna was the same as Phoenix.
Fortunately, following the advice of Lady Astor, we have the options of going to “the shore” or the mountains.
There is no easy PHX for stupidity.
This clearly proves that climate change is a real and present danger. Everyone must immediately pay more taxes.
Alright fellow SDA’ers … check out this Global Warming propaganda article … and tell me what is so patently WRONG with the “Dwindling Snowmelt” graph ?

This sort of CRAP “evidence” of how AWFUL our (normal) climate conditions are is infuriating to me. The average non-thinking, uneducated, voter just eats this up, because they cannot THINK, and cannot READ a graph.
This article is RIDICULOUS ! Our reservoirs are ALREADY FULL (ohhh myyyy … two weeks ahead of “normal”) … from the HUGE (average) RUNOFF. IDGIOTS !!!
WAKE UP !!! We are all being LIED to !!!
If theres hot air then AL GORE and GREENPEACE must be in the area along with the hypocracy
I’ve been in Phoenix in the summer before, the heat today is nothing new or exciting. It’s a little early this year, but temps over 115F are dirt common. I lived through a whole summer with no AC in my truck. You just put your hat on, drink a ton of water, life goes on. Over 110F it helps to put -more- clothes on, the insulation keeps the heat out. Been there, done that, whatever.
The newsies, they’re all having a seizure. It Has Never Been This Hot!!!
Yeah. Except for last year, and the year before, and twenty years ago, and in the 1960’s…
… and man ADAPTS (those with brains). Outdoor work starts before daylight … and ends at about 11a in Phx. meh. And for a significant number of retirees … they fly home to Denver for the summer.
The Indians used to leave the valley completely and go up north to the mountains. Hundreds of years ago. Too fricking hot.
The heat isn’t the real issue.
Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale, Ariz is at the top of the most-polluted list when judged by year-round particle levels. Particle pollution is a combination of soot, dust and aerosols that are suspended in the air. Cities with year-round particle pollution face unhealthy levels day-in and day-out.
“…These are the ten hottest weather temperature days in the history of the city of Phoenix, Arizona, dating back to 1895. …”
So, no record of the actual temperature peak in 1894, or 1794, or 1694 …
