Technically they were Feeding their Future. By taking US money and redirecting it to Somalia.
Initially, my impression was that fraud was a cultural indiosyncracy that the Somalis were inclined to do where ever they landed. And, sadly, to a point, that is exactly true. Minneapolis, Lewstown, Portland ME, Dublin/ Cincinnati, San Diego, Guthberg SE, London. Paris, Roland Garros. Where ever you find a large group of Somalis, there will be fraud. Proven fraud. This is not a racist statement as it is deluged in fact.
So, the inclination was that Somalis gonna fraud, and the wheel was greased by local politicians in exchange for election support of selected politicians. BUT, now I think it’s much bigger and more egregious than that.
Ilhan Omar remains untouched. She committed federal felonies immediately upon entering this country. That is public record and can be documented with records acquirable by anyone (without a subpoena). Powerline Blog had that documentation years ago and posted it. Yet, Omar felt no repercussions. Then her bank account goes into the tens of millions in less than three years. When called on this anecdotally, she claims it was an accounting error, and there was no follow-up….or none to date with any teeth. There have been a handful of other questionable actions on her behalf (a number in direct violation to FARA). Yet, she remains unburdened by the law or consequences.
So, the only real logical explanation is that she is being heavily protected. And, the only viable entity with that sort of power is the DNC. I tend to believe now that the DNC was using this fraud set up to finance their party. This is further supplemented by Biden throwing $46+ Billion towards the programs being abused by Somalis and other parties nationwide. He did so after Congress refused via a, Executive Fiat. Too convenient by half.
Logically, we see the people and groups that make up the baseline Left these days. Most of these individuals don’t have money to support the DNC. They don’t save money to support themselves. Yet, the DNC always gets these massive ammounts from “small donations” that don’t require documentation due to their size. ACT BLUE was abusing this process. USAID was abusing this process. Both of those are now impotent. And, I think Omar is protected because the DNC is running out of illegal cash cows. Otherwise she would already be in jail or deported…likely both.
you are touching on a very peculiar pattern in politics, once the individual reaches a certain plateau, they are ‘off limits’ the clucking sycophant’s muzzle or jail or kill critics, whistle blowers are pilloried in the press, and the ‘al capone’ now in office is untouched by it all. omar is not special or unique in that area, being a somali and having the inclination to commit fraud she just became aware of the ‘open door’ early on.
the TURDeau is another prime example of the untouchable elite. nothing sticks, nothing done, nothing reported, a whole lot of NOTHING. but only after a certain ‘plateau’ is reached, cant be doing it for everyone.
and the important thing lm pointing out here, is the immediate response for countless elsewhere in society who might be in a position to ‘do something’ about it what they ‘do’ is tolerate, support, remove barriers, punish ethical players who might be seen as ‘sniffing around where they dont belong’
