    1. My late sister had her Master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Saskatchewan and worked for the University of Regina. She discovered that many of the “degree granting” studies at University of Regina NEVER had anyone graduate – they seemed to be perpetual motion degrees, never arriving at the destination of graduation.
      As an example, when I was in hospital in April 2018, my room-mate was a woman of 28 who had been there for over 30 days because of CVS (Chronic Vomiting Syndrome – whatever that is!). I did not see her vomit. She had a master’s degree in French philosophy from U of R, was still living at home with her parents and had over $150,000 in student debt. I wished her well when I left and advised that she take a 6 month course in office administration so that she could be gainfully employed. She was not amused, she felt that she was “better than that!”. I know why she vomited so much because of that reply.
      I tell these stories because Black Studies is like that. Captain Capitalism once said that if your degree ends in “studies”(black, womens, gender, environmental), you only job will be as a barista for Starbucks.

  9. Cuba will make a FABULOUS 51st State. So much better than Canada. 95% of Cuban exiles voted for Trump … and a similar proportion of newly FREED Cubans will vote the same. However, I am certain that no more than 17% of newly FREED Canadians would vote for their benefactor. Nope. They’d all commit suicide like a pair of adolescent Jew-hating INCELS in San Diego.
