  2. Kinder-Morgan has now put expansion of the Trans-mountain pipeline on hold.

    For years – decades – people have accused the oil companies of price fixing, but nothing ever came of it. Now is the time for the retail oil companies to fight back against the socialists in the BC government. Throughout the lower mainland and the islands, starting perhaps just west of Kamloops, raise the retail price of gas by 5 cents per litre per week. If the BC gov’t complains, the oil companies should promise to ‘study’ the situation, with an answer in perhaps a year. This will kill tourism in the area. Subsidize some big conventions to move from Vancouver to anywhere else in Canada. Force them to call a new election, or a referendum, on the issue. A couple weeks before the vote, announce that the oil companies have tracked the number of litres sold at the inflated price since events began, and that if the socialists are turned out, there will be a deep discount – below the current price – on an equal number of litres.

    The oil companies have the weapon. Though I don’t consider this ethical, I don’t consider socialists ethical either, and have even less respect for them.

        Mr. Dressup has publicly stated that his favourite country is China. China dearly wants our oil to fuel Xi’s vision of world dominance. By shutting in the industry and, thereby, preventing it from selling its product, would it surprise anyone if Dressup hopes that China will come and rescue it by buying it for dirt cheap?

        That’ll achieve 2 objectives: it forces (post-national, sharia-compliant, gender-balanced, Soros vassal) Canada to go “green” (one can’t burn hydrocarbon fuel when none is being produced) plus it’ll hasten the imposition of communism, which, I’m sure, Dressup would dearly love.
