  1. Don’t be silly … the reason is obvious … The State math tests are racially biased by testing the white man’s math. Of course these precious children graduated … they are PROUD, DEFIANT, children ovvvvvv cullllooour. What they DO know … is their place in the world. Their place in the welfare line.

  3. In Notley’s universe math is unimportant but deviant sex practices are top priority. She will even stand up to God on that one. Or at least tell the catholic church what it has to teach.

  4. Graduates from Baltimore’s schools go on to become that city’s Mayor and senior administration. Makes perfect sense to me.

  8. In the shot of text message saying “Please double check end of the year averages…” there is a just previous statement “you can get cumes finished.” What is cumes? My acronym search came up empty.

  10. I remember in one of Mark Steyn’s books his contrasting one of Jack the Ripper’s victims letters to her mother to a memorandum sent around by the Chicago school systems head administrator. One was written by a healing alcoholic
    who had been a “lady of the evening” and was trying to find a normal life being a serving woman for an upper class family and some of her spelling and phrasing showed it. The letter itself was actually quite well done and was conveying a lot of hope to her family that she had found an anchor to life and was changing and was full of hope for the future. The Administrator’s memo was,well, not well written, had lots of slang,disjointed and jarring changes in ideas and was pretty much what you’d expect from someone raised in the Chicago system and well rewarded by it. A system like this is how you end up with ordering kiosks at fast food places and only having to recognize “D” and to put a mark beside it on the ballot.

  12. A.Kenny … you should read the “email blasts” sent to my schoolteacher wife from her local OEA teachers UNION … my own children wrote more compressible prose at age 8 (however they WERE privileged, by having two hetero parents who read to them and made them do their homework).
    Eels … the schoolchildren serve another ESSENTIAL purpose … $$$$! Schoolchildren = State, Local, and Federal Tax $$$$! That’s the kiddies TRUE purpose for the leftist educational leeches.

    Incentivizing teachers pay with student performance gets you a whole lot of Diplomas.

  17. this reminds me of a skit ages ago on saturday nite live (when I still watched on occasion). the skit was the kids in some elite private school got to skip all their classes, go anywhere they wanted, keep their mouth SHUT, and come end of school term, everyone graduated !!!
