Two unnamed British athletes born male are reportedly set to become the first transgender women to compete at the Olympic Games in Rio, and preparation to hail this human-rights breakthrough is already underway. But what the Olympic Committee and the media are loath to discuss is that their system for allowing transgender athletes to compete in the women’s category is ripe for abuse.

Let’s hope they’re boxers. The more multi-billion dollar institutions turned into laughingstocks to accommodate this insanity, the better.

  3. Let the trans try out for women’s events but restrict them to things like rhythmic gymnastics.

  4. Do they have to be dickless to be considered female to compete in the Olympics? It’s really not a cut and dried case when dealing with so many variations in gender, sexual preferences could swing any way when goofing around with Mother Nature or fixing her supposed goof-ups.

    A civilization awash with politicians that simply don’t give a F about you or me….but would lord it over all…while taxing one literally to death as the corporations sell our jobs overseas and their buddies at the world banks manipulate the money supply such that it is all concentrated at the .01% a that top…

  6. Does anyone here know how a woman who changes to a man gets equipped with the male apparatus? I’m really so confused but it must be very frustrating dealing with urges without the equipment. I hope to be enlightened, it’s a fascinating subject. It’s way beyond changing from Jane to John and putting on a suit and tie.

  7. Generally they don’t equip anything. In some cases a surgeon will create a prosthetic phallus out of a small muscle usually excised from the leg, but that’s extremely risky and very rare. And obviously it doesn’t work for either urination or ejaculation.

  8. How dare they prescribe a maximum testosterone level for female athletes? The next thing they will do is prescribe a maximum boner length for female athletes and that’s nobody’s business as long as nobody steps on it. Do we suspect that there will eventually be two categories in the Olympics, men and trannies, better known as men and men.

    They celebrate transgenders competing against women. They won’t be so thrilled when trangenders start replacing women on teams or the podium, or when women start getting hurt in competition by people who grew up with the advantage of having a lot of testosterone in their blood.

    I don’t know about anyone else but I’m increasingly winnowing out all the things I much care about these days.
    And I’ve found that limiting my “who cares?” factor to family, old friends, following my own particular interests and a few worthy organizations in the local community works out just fine, thanks.
    The Pride stuff just makes it easier to avoid travelling into Toronto, and, even though I live outside the “Nation’s Capital”, the WTU* children’s crusade that now passes for Canadian politics makes avoiding Parliament Hill and central Ottawa a must. CBC gets a by – except for classical music, Claude Saucier on Espace musique, Rex Murphy and Murdoch Mystery reruns.
    I intend to ignore the Rio Olympics now too. Too easy!
    I’ll be poolside at the BBQ with a cold Beau’s in my hand if you’re looking for me.

    I have no doubt that all sorts of perversions exist in human society, however I have no interest in “seeing” how bad it is. Why would anyone want to witness the worst examples of human perversion? I choose to live in a community where that sort of thing is either non-existent or kept private among consenting adults.

Although I would state it as: “I’m increasingly winnowing out all the things I DO NOT much care about these days.” There’s too much shít in the world and the internet has made it far too visible. Dwelling on crâp just rots one’s mind. Life’s too short to focus on negativity.
    I also agree with DanBC that the Olympics are essentially irrelevant. I don’t watch any of it and I avoid all products that their sponsors produce.

  30. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that way. I don’t pay much attention to the Olympics or any other such events any more. They became a joke years ago.

    At the Olympics they speculated that she is not she. They had to get in her pants to check.
    They figured that after all that she was she.
    Must a been just slightly ahead of her time.

  33. Don’t get me wrong, I love my sports.
    But the Olympics have been so watered down by professional sports and other non-sports (DARTS anybody?) that the event has become a participation award event, rather than for truly Amateur athletes in events of prowess (think track and field, rather than “ice dancing”)

  34. I gave up on the Olympics being about athletics when beach volleyball was included as an event. My decision was confirmed when I heard that someone was pushing to have ballroom dancing included as well.

  36. DanBC and B… I agree. The non-sport that clinched it for me was synchronized swimming. Hell, even ice dancing requires way more physical prowess and competitive spirit. As for figure skating and ice dancing, it only looks easy to someone who has never tried it. I’ve known a few and they’re every bit as much of an athlete as anyone in track and field. ..but darts or ballroom dancing? …no way!!

  39. If I were a current HS athlete here in CA where Gov. Jerry Brown and the supermajority leftist Assembly and Senate have passed transgender rights for ALL of CA schools … I would do ANYTHING to get some prime EQUAL time in the girls locker room. I was never tall-enough, but certainly athletic-enough to make the boys basketball team … so I would definitely make it onto the girls team (and would likely be the superstar of their team) … but I would be MUCH MORE focused on the pre-game, post-game, camaraderie with my teamMATES … than I would care about the final score.

    It is only in retrospect, that I realize that for so many years, that the atheists of the Soviet Republic had a clearer view of the Brave New World that we all live in today.
