I truly believe that sea ice area and sea ice extent are effected as much by temperature as by the wind.(Sometimes it is the temp and sometimes it is the wind.) The Wind can pile sea ice up reducing or increasing sea ice numbers, or it can spread ice around either increasing ice extent or decreasing it. The methodology is all wrong.

I have come to one conclusion when it comes to Global warming in a political context.
The left is treating the Planet like it does Governments. this cult of Marx, wants no seasonal change. It wants a Planet as statist as their governments.The left uses words, lies, misinformation, historical revisionism. All to create a conformist Totalitarian sameness forever. Nothing changes, nor progress. Just an endless demand of impossibilities. From gender to the environment. Politics to truth, that defeats these folks all the time. To bad like locusts they create such havoc.They eat up the souls of any civilization.
To the point it can’t function in a system that doesn’t work.
Just establishes an oligarchy with an hereditary Political class.
The industries, police, schools ,even your dining habits, let alone thinking, become the business of the State.
These people think they are gods that can even control the weather.
As well as lying to control men even more by taxing most into a debtors prison.
Statism the new by word for decay.
