  4. It is often said, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” This magnificent work takes this up by several magnitudes. It truly captures in the faces of the apostles the vast array of emotions they no doubt felt that morning.
    Let us take forward this message; that there is salvation beyond our corporeal bounds. That there is a Savior that died a horrible death for us, but defeated the grave to rise again.
    May God truly bless you all and make the Joy of Easter be with you every day of the year

  9. Being a bit of a contrarian I don’t refer to the first Sunday following the first full moon following the vernal equinox as Easter. Easter being the name of the Anglo Saxon Dawn Goddess, I choose to refer to the day as Resurrection Sunday and so I wish all my fellow human beings a Blessed Resurrection Sunday.
    Then came the morning, night turned into day;
    The stone was rolled away, hope rose with the dawn.
    Then came the morning, shadows vanished before the sun,
    Death had lost and life had won, for morning had come.
    And in wonderment may all His creation proclaim, “He is Risen”.

  29. One of many epistles to the churches of the ancient world.
    It’s quite easy to see in how many different geographic areas the early churches were established by the letters (epistles) written by Paul as guidance to them … Rome, Corinth, Galatia, Ephesus, Apphia, Phillipi, Thessolonika, Jerusalem (Hebrews) .. which are all equally legitimate as incubators of the faith.

    In Acts, it is James who leads the establishment of the first church in Jerusalem.
    About Peter, who spent most of his life in Antioch and died in Rome during a brief visit there.
    Indeed he has risen.
