China’s military spending has been rapidly spiraling upward, and the growing amounts are unnerving Beijing’s Asian neighbors and policy planners in the Pentagon, who are openly wary about the country’s long-term intentions.

Well. The USSA doesn’t have to worry about the Chicoms attacking them. After all,all the Chicoms have to do is call in their loans.Poof.USSA bankrupt in a fell swoop. That is if the Zero doesn’t beat them to bankruptcy.
Perhaps americans(&cdns) can lob all those ‘made in china’ trinkets at them as they land, that we were so willing to sacrifice our own economic wellbeing for.
And don’t get me started on intellectual property etc.
Perhaps americans( & cdns etc ) can lob all those covetted ‘made in china’ trinkets at them as they land on our shores, you know the ones we were so willing to sacrifice our own economic wellbeing for.
And don’t get me started on intellectual property etc.
Get ready.
This is just the beginning.
What old duffer said.
Why sell them the rope that will hang us?
Encourage South Korea, Japan and Taiwan to nuclearise and develop (or further develop) EMPs.
What about those aircraft carriers now, Mr. “President”?
Romney was right.
What’s America’s greatest security threat?
A weak economy.
So the Community Organgrinders lack of knowledge regarding Foriegn Policy is starting to become apparent. You can bet that he will refuse to aknowledge the truth the same as he did while the US Ambassador and others were being murdered. If he had a conscience he would withdraw from this election and plead for forgivness due to his incompetence costing four innocent people their lives.
China’s military spending is still a tiny fraction of America’s. This is a problem for East Asian nations, not us.

Not having Unions saves a lot of expense.
Since you’re an expert LAS on when it’s not our problem, perhaps you could describe the circumstances that we should expect to see when it is our problem.
With more than a billion people and communist ideals, China needs “lebensraum”. The western powerhouses are all on their knees financially and another war with any country larger than Luxombourg is out of the question. The UN is a paper Tiger focused on agenda 21 and trying to hold on to the little credibility they still have. Weakness, indecision and deflection as shown towards a obnoxious Iran shows the will to stand up and fight back is just not there. Add to that the thousands of outsourced factories in their possession supplying the free world with everyday consumer goods and it’s not hard to see that they feel they are holding all the trump cards. Can you imagine what would happen to our whole monetary system if suddenly China took over those thousands of factories in lou of the 16 trillion dollars they hold in debt ? A debt they know they can not cash in as the USA is broke and certainly does not have the gold reserves to back it up. We have seen what happens when a community activist is promoted to Commander in Chief and the Chinese are not stupid. They know full well that the opportunity to repossess Tibet, Taiwan and various other ex Chinese holdings can be realized with a conventional war and the chance of failure is slim as the resupply line for the western war machine is very difficult to maintain halfway around the world. We promised to defend a lot of nations in Chinas sphere of influence if they are in trouble but our ability to do so could be tested sooner than expected. From a communist viewpoint the free world is in turmoil and has no more stomach for any war that does not threaten their own shores. They know we wont use nukes if they don’t. All points to ponder but all very real possibilities. The Pentagon is right to worry.
What, they have ships that can go under wtare, and boats that airplanesbland on? And they are making MORE of them you say?
I’ll take more horses and bayonets, please!

Your stupid is showing again.
I’ve always held that every dollar you spend on Chinese junk is a dollar less in our economy and another dollar they spend on a warhead aimed at you. This is NOT a free, democratic friendly nation – never forget that.
Thank goodness Canada is no longer contributing a million dollars a week to aid in this military build up — as was done under the Chretien Liberals.
We still give plenty of aid, your tax dollars, to China, India and Pakistan.
All are nuclear armed countries with huge militaries including active space programs (China & India), all with more wealthy billionaires than in Canada.

One day they will divide our countries amongst themselves and your descendants will live in the poverty and filth that they afford their own people today.
On Aug. 31 1939 the world was at peace and war was inconceivable. The next day the sh1t hit the fan. That’s how fast everything we take for granted can change. History has a nasty habit of repeating itself.
I have only one thing to say about this. Taiwan is about to disappear.
