  1. Caller to Thursday’s Dennis Miller Show:
My retired father and I were talking and he had a suggestion for Mitt Romney to say in a commercial:
“America, isn’t it time that we had someone who was familiar with signing the front of a check rather than someone who only knows about signing the back?”

You can add dwright to the roll call.

  3. Huge theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado.
Conservatives already being blamed, prepare for the sh!tstorm, folks.

  4. Yeah sure, whereas your ilk is poised to project insane conclusions tainting tens of millions of people, based on any information you can twist regarding this act of a madman.
I can tell you already it is 100% the fault of Hollywood and the pop culture industry, the propaganda effect of their degraded and degenerate cultural saturation.

  5. I wonder if this sick young man will be given the same rights and considerations as Maj. Nidal Hasan, the Muslim Fort Hood shooter?

  6. No Davenport, if one, just one, person with a concealed carry permit would have been in the theater, it would be a minimal story, as they would have taken out the sicko post haste.
And the calls for more gun control are deafening.

  7. “No Davenport, if one, just one, person with a concealed carry permit would have been in the theater…’
How do you know there wasn’t, Texas?

  8. The National Post’s Matthew Fisher writes:
“Canada is number one,” the editor of France’s L’Express magazine gushed in a special edition this month that encouraged its readers to emigrate not only to Quebec but to every corner of the country.
    Oh, does he now?
I have heard similar thoughts expressed by ordinary Europeans from Greece to Britain. Word is filtering out that Canada is one of the few western countries with solid finances and an optimistic long-term economic outlook.
Aye. It would be in even better shape without the distant cousins of L’Express readers fouling up the place. It was Englishmen, Scotsmen and Ulster Protestants willing to work and loyal to the Queen who have made Canada what it is today. They will always be welcome in this dominion. We have more than our share of Frenchmen. We don’t need any more.
There’s only so many ways for Canada to tell Catholic Europe to go get their bailout from the Pope of Rome, who owes them many more favours than we do. In the next little while we’ll clearly be needing them all. If L’Express readers take the editor at his word and decide they want to hop on the next Air France flight across the water, may I humbly suggest that the Royal Canadian Air Force could use the target practice.

  9. Davenport we know because they got him alive. And the MSM story wasn’t “two teapartiers shoot each other in theater” story at 11.

  10. As a result of the current uprising, significant numbers of Christians foreign to Syria are going home:
Syria’s Armenians, the most recent of whom arrived 85 years ago as a result of the Genocide, are returning from diaspora (Armenian Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty article here).
More recent refugees, groups of Iraqi Christians are being forced at gunpoint to leave again – most returning to Iraq (Daily Telegraph article here).

    John Milton:
    “PARADISE REGAINED”
“I, who erewhile the happy Garden sung
By one man’s disobedience lost, now sing
    Recovered Paradise to all mankind,
By one man’s firm obedience fully tried
Through all temptation, and the Tempter foiled
In all his wiles, defeated and repulsed,
And Eden raised in the waste Wilderness.”
