Fraud within a fraud? Who would thunk it?

German judge says ‘brought the scheme into disrepute’. This carbon trading scheme has been a fraud from the beginning.
What is very interesting to read is the comments submitted on this article to The Mail. I seems the commenters are not quite onside with the UK government’s point of view on carbon taxes.
Indeed, the buying and selling of thin air is the fraud within itself.
Even the mob would not have been this audacious.

The Federal Court has ordered the government to pay $200,000 each to former Liberal prime minister Jean Chrétien and his late chief of staff — compensation for some of the legal costs they racked up fighting the findings of an inquiry into the sponsorship scandal.
