Love Her Or Hate Her

She knows how to lay waste her critics;

“I’d always suspected that Sean Penn was the type of “man” who plays with dolls, but I assumed that he liked the life-sized ones you have to inflate first.”

An interview with Ann Coulter, at Right Wing News
Update: Drudge reporting “EXCLUSIVE: ANN COULTER SCORES #1 BOOK WITH 48,408 SOLD, ACCORDING TO BOOKSCAN… TIM RUSSERT ‘FATHERS’ 33,563 COPIES… ANDERSON COOPER 29,447… DEVELOPING…”

  1. So why isn’t she promoting that Concrete?
Why doesn’t she come out and say that only creationism should be taught in schools and explain to us why it is good science, instead of going on about how evolution is a fraud?
Why doesn’t she come out and tell us that in her perfect world she’d be at home with two or three kids by now instead of making millions selling books and going on speaking tours?
Why doesn’t she come out and tell us that she believes that work and shopping and all commercial activity should be banned on Sundays?
Why doesn’t she suggest she’s in favour of criminalizing homosexuality?
Why doesn’t she write about how much better the US would be if unhealthy poor people were simply left outside to die instead of paid for by medicaid?
I could go on (and on and on and on), but I’ve made my point. She would be ridiculed and her books would stop selling.
Her imagined world never existed the way she imagines it to have existed, and it would be easier to refute if she tried to describe it… so she refuses to.
Takes a lot fewer brain cells and sells a ton more books to be nasty and negative anyway.

  2. The idea Ted is freedom of religion, not freedom from it.
And the rhetorical questions and the silly scenarios you make up in your “point” prove nothing.
I think Sunday shopping is still banned in some places in Canada. So what?
And I guess it is remotely possible that Coulter might yet marry you and have 2 or 3 kids. JOKE
Our own Christian God based laws and societys are certainly not imagined.
You must be John Lennon fan as you place great faith in imagining.
Also our own Christian society has never “left poor people to die” in any manner even remotely resembling the Godless societys who have often used mass starvation as a government policy.

“I’m not going to disagree with you. Moore twists facts illustrate a point for political gain, and Sheehan is just as uneducated and il-informed as Coulter.
Coulter looks so strong on television because they pit her up against bleeding hearts. She looks strong to her viewing audience. Put her in a debate with someone who’s even remotely intelligent and just as fiery, and she’d burn up like the brown sack of crap left on someone’s doorstep that she is.
As for people defending the, “They’re luck we let them exist” quote, shame. Stand up for Canada O_O. It’s freaks like Coulter that promote building a fence along the northern border.
Idolizing someone like that because they are entertaining to watch isn’t wise”.
    Dear Lore_weaver,
just a little “Coulter” background for ya!
Ann Coulter was a undergrad in Cornell Universities College of Arts and Science. She graduated cum laude from Cornell in 1984 and received her J.D…you might have to look that one up….from the University of Michigan Law School where she acheived membership in the Order of Coif….you might have to look that one up too….Ann was also the editor of the Michigan Law Review.
Coulter founded a local chapter of the Federalist Society and was trained at the National Journalism center
Coulter practiced corporate law for four years before becoming a congressional aide to (R.) Senator, Spencer Abraham.
Although one might not agree with Coulter’s politics, your statement that “Sheehan is just as uneducated and il-informed as Coulter” not only invalidates your post, it begs the question as to wether or not you should consider some post secondary education yourself.
