Beck says she misspoke on LNG for power generation, asks about coal refurbishment costs

“Mr. Speaker, I’m going to stand in my place today and do something that is sometimes hard for politicians — particularly, it seems, for the Premier — and I’m going say that when I said LNG, I misspoke. I meant natural gas, Mr. Speaker.” – Carla Beck

    1. LaBoeuf: “You don’t think much of me, do you, Cogburn?”
Rooster Cogburn: “I don’t think about you at all when your mouth is closed.”

  1. Females aren’t all this stupid … are they? Or is it just a certain subset of low IQ, bad gene pool womyn?

Yeah … time to get more womyn into STEM fields and degrees. Cause all their ‘Studies’ degrees aren’t improving anyone’s knowledge.

  2. It’s the same sort of ignorance that causes governments to buy wind turbines and solar panels, then expecting them to work when there is no sun or wind. I think there needs to be a series of classes and exams in basic sciences for those wanting to run for office. It might prevent these pols from making decisions based on the pseudo-science so prevalent in the media and on the internet. The “ordinary Joe” is well aware that wind turbines need wind and solar panels need sun, and that wind doesn’t blow on the high-pressure days when the temperatures are either really hot or really cold, and the sun doesn’t shine at night or under heavy cloud, and at low angles at dawn or dusk and in the winter they’re also next to useless. They also get covered by snow or dust. And hail destroys them.

CO2? Every plant, including every tree, is made of the stuff. The planet has greened and crops are thriving as the CO2 levels rise. But politicians don’t know that.

    1. Morocco, Spain, Portugal had lots of rain an now deserts are green. That’s good, right?
