  1. Oh peachie! First they’re druggin’ the cattle to reduce cow farts, now they’re hopping up the ticks to achieve their aims. I’m sure this will work out well. No unforeseen consequences. Seems the COVID ‘vax’ (Safe and Effective) is having some longer term issues too (like wrecked immune systems, turbo cancers etc). Follow the Science!

  5. Did you know that the primary private funder of tick research (quite the niche for a billionaire) is a couple (Steve and Alex Cohen)? Incidentally, they’re vegans. Oh, and they are owners of the NY Mets.

  6. We don’t even need the conspiracy theory of PETA-altered ticks to “end our addiction to beef” (sung to the tune of “end our addiction to oil”) … no, all we need is $10.00/lb hamburger.

    And it will ALL be Trump’s fault [sic] … because Trump’s tariffs didn’t allow enough tainted beef to be imported from Brazil or something. Because we NEED H1b visas for beef producers or something. We just don’t have enough US Factory Farms to grow enough beef to be horrifically slaughtered as depicted in some PETA video or something.

    Economic punishment to drive behavior is working fabulously here in CA … where we have been cured from “our addiction to warm homes and green lawns” by unaffordable energy and water.

  7. My ultimate goal is to move out of this hellhole state of New Jersey to somewhere south with maybe five acres, but I’m increasingly spooked by the spread of ticks and the illnesses they host. One of my college roommates has a few mostly wooded acres and has contracted Lyme disease thanks to all the ticks on his property. And now the “eat the bugs” people are ******* with Mother Nature so I can’t enjoy a nice juicy steak?!?! SMH

  8. Just to be clear, we’re talking about one tenth of one percent of Americans suffering with this disease. When you look at the global population, the number of people suffering is effectively zero.

    That said, I’d like to see research into how to cure this atrocity of an illness. As mentioned on this site a few months ago, eating beef is better than taking a multi-vitamin so finding a cure is rather obviously a boon for humanity as a whole.

  9. Canada has nasty ticks. I saw a paper on how infection with the bacteria that causes Lyme acts like antifreeze and so infected ticks dropped from migrating birds are more likely to survive our winters.

      I saw 4 squirrels today in my back yard. Two were black, and 2 were blonde. I have never seen a gang like that before. What can it signify? HELP!
