The Censorship Industrial Complex

Climategate was the moment they tipped their hand.

The censorship mechanisms we now see on a daily basis in our Google searches, wildly one-sided “news” coverage, and the consolidation of speech codes into full-fledged and sometimes violent censorship on campuses across the nation are the outgrowth of U.S. State Department censorship programs enacted in 2016 after a new bubble of worldwide populism erupted. It marked the point when all of the mechanisms the U.S. employed against our enemies were turned on the American people. […]

in this interview [Mike Benz is] given the time (nearly three hours) to explain the construction of the apparatus that American taxpayers pay for and are victimized by.

And The Police Were Completely Irrelevant As Well

David Henderson- An Opening for Private Liquor Stores in Manitoba

The above is a picture I took last night of people lining up at a Manitoba government liquor store in Winnipeg. For about 2 years now, the government has had a system in place to allow people in the stores one by one. The reason is that a few years ago, there were a number of gang attacks on the liquor stores. People, typically youths, would enter all at once and steal liquor. Some employees were injured.

Calgary Herald- Grain workers strike update: Picket lines go up at six Metro Vancouver terminals

Grain terminal workers picked a “high leverage moment” to go on strike in Metro Vancouver as farmers in Western Canada have an abundance of product to move for export, a food economics and supply chain expert says.

Picket lines went up at six grain terminals in Metro Vancouver on Tuesday as about 600 workers with Grain Workers Union Local 333 began their strike.

LBC- Angela Rayner under fire over taxpayer-funded £68k photographer

It is normal for a prime minister to have a personal photographer, but she is understood to be the first deputy PM to have their own .

The government says Simon Walker, the photographer, is part of her communications team, rather than a ‘personal’ hire for Ms Rayner.

Mr Walker’s job description on LinkedIn says he is the “chief photographer to the Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. He was previously Rishi Sunak’s chief photographer.

Show Me The Man

I’ll show you the crime;

I’m not a fan of RFK, Jr.

I remember some of his recent past, such as wanting to silence “climate deniers” and such, so I can’t support anyone who thought that was a good idea, even if he doesn’t now. After all, what other braindead, unconstitutional policies will he think is a good idea next?

But he’s not running for anything now. Now, he’s supporting Donald J. Trump.

And that makes him a target.

Some continue to claim, despite numerous prosecutions against Trump, that no one is weaponizing federal law enforcement against enemies of the Democratic Party. They say that the reason Trump is being investigated and prosecuted is because he’s a terrible person who did illegal things.

However, now RFK is under investigation, and it’s kind of hard to ignore now.

Tip Of The Iceberg

Coming soon to a pension fund near you.

Telegraph- Gold-plated public sector pension shortfall costs taxpayers £208bn

Taxpayers have been handed a £208bn public sector pensions bill because workers and employers haven’t paid enough in, analysis shows.

Contributions towards the gold-plated schemes have barely covered half the amount actually needed to fund them during the past decade, according to pensions consultant John Ralfe.

The shortfall will have to be paid by current and future taxpayers, even though less than one in five workers are in the public sector and can benefit from the schemes.

Blacklock’s- 344 Fired For CERB Cheating

A total 289 Revenue Agency employees were fired for falsely claiming $2,000 monthly pandemic relief cheques under the Canada Emergency Response Benefit Act. Another 55 employees were fired at the Department of Employment. “All employees are expected to abide by the Code Of Conduct,” wrote managers.

The Revenue Agency said any employee “who inappropriately applied for and received the CERB will be required to repay the amounts if they haven’t already done so as part of normal collection methods.” No cases were referred to police.

The count is expected to rise with ongoing investigations.

“It’s not in the best interest of our state or our nation to have the same federal agencies seeking to prosecute Donald Trump leading this investigation. … The public deserves to know the truth about how this assassination [attempt] came to be.”

Motion to seal, too late. Read them here.

@paulsperry_

The would-be Trump assassin #2 told the court he has no assets and lives off $3,000 a month while supporting a son as a roofer, yet he’s finding $$ to travel back and forth to Oahu AND to Ukraine as a mercenary while amassing a small arsenal of weapons plus GoPro equipment. Hmm.

Telegraph- Low-skilled migrants cost taxpayers £150,000 each

Low-paid migrant workers are an immediate drain on the public purse, costing taxpayers more than £150,000 each by the time they hit state pension age, according to the Government’s tax and spending watchdog.

The Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) said the average low-earner who came to Britain aged 25 cost the Government more overall than they paid in from the moment they arrived.

Global- Telesat Lightspeed: Canada, Quebec give billions of dollars for satellite production

Speaking to reporters Friday at MDA’s facility west of Montreal, Trudeau said the Telesat Lightspeed low Earth orbit broadband satellite constellation will enable people in the most remote parts of the country, including in Indigenous communities and mines and forestry companies, to connect with cheaper, more reliable internet.

“That’s what this investment is about,” he said.

Blacklock’s- MPs Probe VIA Service Again

Passengers aboard VIA Rail Train 622 on a Labour Day weekend trip from Montréal to Québec City were stranded within sight of the Trans-Canada Highway near Drummondville, Que. due to engine trouble. Travelers were told to stay put for hours without food or washroom facilities as a stench akin to burning rubber filled the cars.

Parliament created VIA Rail in 1978 as a passenger service formerly run by Canadian National Railway, then a Crown corporation. Operating losses in recent years totaled $415.7 million in 2020, $370.5 million in 2021, $354.3 million in 2022 and $381.8 million in 2023.
