The fact that a publication of the American Association for the Advancement of Science has seemingly become a mouthpiece for an organization counting among its officers a felon convicted under the federal Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act is very troubling. Further it is difficult to imagine how continuously featuring the efforts of animal rights groups dedicated to ending animal research advances science, which is embodied in the very name, AAAS.
Just like the Phistians Council for Responible Medicine(PCRM)and the nion of Concerned Sciestists(UCS)their a bunch of phonies the PCRM is nothing but a PETA front group and the UCS is nothing bunch a small handful or crack-pots who call themselves Scienists(Like Bill Nye and Neal Bernard)their all as authentic as a four dollar bill
As soon as I hit the part stating the “journal Science”, full stop. That piece of trash can’t even publish itself. Again, we are so fubared.
A quick look at some of the points in the AAAS mission statement brings the whole thing into perspective:

•Promote the responsible use of science in public policy;
•Strengthen and diversify the science and technology workforce;
•Increase public engagement with science and technology;(…)
Buzzword after buzzword. So, yeah, AAAS mission is to be a mouthpiece to every rainbow-flag-waving, panda-bear-hugging, climate-change-champion, social-justice-warrior nut in academia – plus their sympathizers.
I’ve never known the AAAS to do or advocate anything which actually advances science. It’s a bit like seeing “Democratic” in the name of a country (or political party for that matter); they have to include it in the name because nothing they do or advocate is actually democratic.
Even the acronym is carefully chosen.
To position these rent seekers near the front of government handout (grant) listings.
The whole NGO, “independent media” and “non-partisan organization” are all parts of the bureaucratic swindle , our kleptocracy needs these actors” to maintain the facade of responsible government.
Funny how all the rules and regulations apply to the taxpayer, yet none within government every answer for their crimes.
Once the suckers realize Laws are for the little people, civilization falls.
Anyone else notice those civility posters in govt building ?

There is no confusion in their minds, as to who works for who.
It is interesting to note that the old soviet union was run by governments which id the bidding of their science “experts” = things did not go well for that system or the people under it and one of the casualties were real scientists who shared gulags with other people who were inconvenient truths to the sate narratives.
We enter dark times with these types at the helm. They gravitate to unelected control positions in big bureaucracy-ridden governing systems and persecute dissent through administrative regulation. History has shown us it will take revolt to undo the mess.
Fortunately for us we have superlative examples of the type of leaders and methods needed to bloodlessly remove the remorseless oppression of remorseless dictatorships. Welensa did it and Yektsin did it – it will come to pass here as well when UN soviet regimes use anti-science to oppress.
