Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

….What a way to get fired…This is the 21st Century!
Fired at?
“Nailed it! ” said the robot.
(Yes, I know, I’m a terrible person.)
Haven’t we all seen the cartoons and movies where the hero/heroine is caught in some mechanized assembly line, where the robots are cutting, nailing, and welding parts … and they are about to get welded to death? Didn’t Star Wars even feature that happening to C3P0?
Sorry, I’ll take my chances behind the wheel myself. Let the millennials live in the dystopia they envision. Not ALL technological advancements are for the good.
I was thinking more along the lines of a certain scene from the movie Logan’s Run.
this fellow was the original pioneer for this stuff:

check it out, really. hilarious slapstick by a true comedy genius. my papa loved this guy.
That is some nasty photography. I can’t believe that guy got out of that alive.
This is one of those things where you begin to understand how hard it is to kill a human by stabbing.
“Last year, a construction worker miraculously survived after he was electrocuted, thrown from his workstation and then impaled through the anus by a four-foot steel bar.”
Some people pay extra for that kind of action…
At least they didn’t need radiation treatment

“HUMANS: Do not be alarmed! That is an order ! The offending robot will be sent to a re-education camp for an attitude adjustment. All must accept the fate decreed by the A.I. Deity.
Don’t worry, BE HAPPY! That is also, an order.”
“Only harm caused by humans is culpable, because they are inferior beings.”
Don’t worry, BE HAPPY! That is also, an order.
I thought the slogan was “Share and enjoy!” or is it “Go stick your head in a pig”? (Fans of a certain BBC radio SF comedy series will get the references.)
So will the manufacturer of the robot and the programmer be charged with murder?
No. Murder implies intent.
No. Murder implies intent.
Tell that to poor innocent James Alex Fields.
Well then criminal negligence. And how do we know there was no intent? I mean, not until you review the code would you know that.
I thought the Chinese were into acupuncture.

Try to keep up. Or be swallowed by the machine.
Modern Times
Keep a link of this handy. Next time you see someone with a bolt through their nose and a couple of staples in their ear, loudly scoff and call them a poser. When they get mad, show them this die-hard, extreme piercing.
Don’t tell them he almost died. Make a challenge out of it.
