In Canada the press whores would (will) just take it out of the 600 million-dollar kitty Juthtin gave them for services-soon-to-be-rendered.

If the paper is hemorrhaging money and in a death spiral then what’s it matter if the CEO is an anti-semite? And even if he is, if you ‘found out’ (as in, it wasn’t common knowledge) then he’s obviously not bringing it to work at the paper so its having no practical effect anyway.

Might he be a Democrat? Funny, that was the first question I had too. Don’t know, except to observe that if he had any connection whatsoever to the GOP or the current President, you could be sure that it would have been highlighted. So, as is becoming the norm in these post-modern times, we read between lines for what they don’t say for the real news.

“The story never ran.” If that is what you can get for $2.5 million, imagine what the Socks is expecting for $600 million over five years!

No coincidence I am sure, but the NP has just had run a succession of “damn with faint praise” and “disparagement by casual association” pieces by the usual suspects, slagging Mr Scheer. Textbook examples of what one is taught not to do in J-school, not that they don’t helpfully give you examples of how “not” to do it…

I take the buyout from the owner of the dying enterprise.

Maharaj did not confront or expose Ferro because Ferro is not an anti-Semite. Maharaj threatened to libel his former boss if he wasn’t given a big payday to go away after being fired for incompetence.

Ferro’s vision for the LA Times might just have saved the paper. As it is, the paper is now firmly in the hands of the overseas Chinese cabal, which is all too real.
