I’ve long been baffled by a large number of Canadians whose social media feeds demonstrate that they are obsessed with American politics 24/7. They clearly hate President Trump, as well as all Americans who don’t share their political views. But now, one Canadian woman married to an American and living in America, has gone beyond simple rhetoric:

I know why they say they use the word “allegedly” but they often use it even AFTER some dork has been found guilty. It is not a necessary safeguard. They don’t have to say someone “allegedly” did something….just say they have been accused, rather than “allegedly”. It is an abuse of language and a deliberate one.
They also use it to get away with accusing innocents when they know it’s patently false. “Trump allegedly raped a woman in a NYC department store changing room”

I doubt she was truthful to customs about coming here for ‘business’ purposes. If she was a paid protester there are other legal implications other than just assault.
She’s a naturalized citizen by marriage … according to her manly (Democrat definition) husband.
I guess she didn’t read the part of becoming a naturalized citizen where she must maintain good moral character.
But also! It’s curious her “husband” specifically mentions they have been married 3-years … because that’s the minimum time it takes to become naturalized by marriage. You also have to PROVE your marital union (say so’s don’t count) … and you must have been physically living in the US for at least 18mos.
I look forward to her deportation and banishment from ever returning to the US. Canada needs her as a voter more than we do.

You also have to start the process and make the application from outside the USA. Marriage doesn’t mean automatic. Applying after the fact triggers a deportation order. The daughter of an acquaintance discovered that.

If you know anything about Toms River, it’s the one of the most conservative leaning areas in NJ with the highest concentration of my fine Italian-American brothers and sisters in the state. I’ve been questioned going to the US. I’ve been questioned coming back to Canada. It’s not unusual. However the older I get the less I get questioned anywhere.
I’ve been questioned, but I think they just make small talk while the computer searches for your file after they shove your passport in the machine. My buddy got in trouble when he was asked if had been fingerprinted before (looking for felons). He said No. The custom agent became very hostile because he thought he had been lied to. It went downhill from there until a supervisor showed up. He had been fingerprinted when he joined the CF 25 years prior. He just forgot.
